Watch the YT Version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGTJaOU-vr8 For @MrItzDoubled Memory Lane Part 1: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/679725366/ Memory Lane Part 3: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1024563887/ This is a sequel to a sequel, so technically a triquel? Idk. Welp, enjoy! :P To @MrItzDoubled: YOO!!! It's that time of year again! I hope you enjoy your birthday today! Take some time to rest, you deserve it, especially after all of the amazing projects you posted since last birthday! To celebrate your 17th bir- I mean 18th birthday, here is a special project! @-FightStream- ! Oh yeah, here's a not-so-fun experience I had to go through. So originally, this project was created in 4 days and was posted on April 25, 2023. I even posted a YouTube version of this animation on my YT channel on May 15, 2023. Then suddenly around like the first week of August, I accidentally replaced this project with another project file and saved it without knowing what I had just done. I didn't even realize until like a day or two days after because I saw 2 versions of the project I was working on (the file that replaced this project), and one of the versions was titled "Memory Lane Part 2" and was shared. I was very confused because at first, I thought I had just accidentally shared the project I was working on by mistake. But then I noticed the share date and realized what huge mistake I have made. So, with that, it took me about a week to recreate the entire animation. It was super lucky that I posted the YT version of this project, or else recreating it would be an absolute nightmare. Luckily since I had the YT version, I took the audio from there, and put it in this project. The art, I had to recreate by tracing over screenshots of the video. As I was recreating it, every time I was done for the day, I would save the current version of the "Memory Lane Part 2 Rebirth". I recreated it on a separate project, not this project you're on. Once I was done recreating Memory Lane Part 2 on the separate project, I saved that file for the last time, and transferred it to this very project, the original Memory Lane Part 2. I learned my lesson that time, and I decided to save some files for my other projects as well. So yeah. If you're wondering why I recreated it on Scratch instead of just letting the YT version exist only, I knew that I would need assets for Memory Lane Part 3, when I start working on it. I also knew that it would be a lot more convenient for people to have a Scratch project version just in case they might be watching it at school and my YT channel were to be blocked. So ye. It's worth mentioning that there are some very slight differences between the YT version and this Scratch recreation version in terms of art, since I remastered some details, primarily one of the character's designs. Other than that, the 2 versions should look almost identical considering the assets I used in the original version were already saved in my backpack and Memory Lane Part 1.
