INTRODUCTION ; aaa finally i have enough motivation to write this. it will be down below so yeah,, read away mi amigos! ROLEPLAY ; The world had gone quiet, the only sound being the gentle winds that blew against the dunes. The only midnight sky was vast, peppered with twinkling stars that hovered overhead. The moon was a pale, softly glowing crescent in the sky, casting a comforting glow upon the landscape. Downpourpaw hadn’t been able to get any sort of rest, his thoughts buzzing as he thrashed and tossed and turned in his nest, desperate for the safety of his dreams to wash over him. But it hadn’t happened, and now he was out in the faintly illuminated dunes of Windclan. Something was wrong, yet he couldn’t quite place it. So affectionately he used to look upon the world, and it had so suddenly disappeared. His passion for what he had previously enjoyed had departed without a farewell, whisking away unbeknownst to the young apprentice. There was such a somnolent blanket over his mind, yet however hard he tried to settle into it, things wouldn’t work out. It seemed as though all of the salubrious things in his life had drained away, and ever so quickly they had done so. For the past few days, he had been the most despondent he had ever been, the days seeming to grow longer and more tedious and this behavior persisted. The idea was so abstruse to his mind, though there was a familiarity to it that puzzled him further. These insipid weeks would keep on passing if he didn’t do something. But what could he do? He knew only to /feel/, and that was it. Stumbling farther into the territory, Downpourpaw continued within his thoughts. Could this be fixed? Would he be permanently damaged by this.. thing that plagued him day after day? He knew not of the answers, however, which only served to further vex him. A shining droplet rolled down his cheek, cascading along the soft brown fur of his gentle face. In this moment, he was vulnerable; he knew this, and he felt weak. As if he wasn’t useful anymore. It was so futile, to try. To try and do anything at all. Because he was himself and that wasn’t good enough. What would others think? What would they think of his weakness. Oh, but he could cover it up! He could cover it with a smile.
