Hi all! A few days ago I visited a k!ll pen auction and bid on a few horses - and won them! Slide 1 [] Tiger Eye Tiger Eye is an 18 year old AQH gelding who has mild arthritis, so he can only be ridden bareback and at a walk or trot. He also needs meds to keep his arthritis under control, but other than that he has no other problems and he is such a sweet, great horse! Slide 2 [] Sleeping Dogs At the auction, there was also a black AQH gelding named Sleeping Dogs. Though most rodeo broncs are in fact treated well as performance horses, not all are, and quite often many of them are sold at k!ll pen auctions once retired. Sleeping Dogs (his rodeo name) is a 12 year old AQH gelding and currently I am just trying to get him used to me. Riding is faaar out in the distance! Slide 3 [] Zephyr Zephyr is an almost-two year old palomino AQH colt! He is super cute and loves people, so I have no idea how he ended up at a k!ll pen auction! He does have some dental issues however so I will be taking him to a vet soon.
