I'm ms. twyla, and I'll be teaching you bnrs + thumbs. in today's lesson, we'll be starting off w/ bnrs :D I'll teach u the basics, and then we'll move on to the more complicated stuff. there'll also be a quiz at the end. okay, so some of u are probably wondering, w h a t ' s a B A N N E R ? well, in my understanding, a banner is basically a wlcm proj/image for your pf ^^ so you pick a bg, put some pngs + overlays, add some text and customize it however u like! :D next question: h o w c a n w e m a k e a B A N N E R ? well, u can make one pretty much anywhere u like. but most ppl prefer to make it either on canva, or pixlr e. they're both websites + apps too if ur on smth not - desktop. u can also hv ur own s t y l e of making bnrs. so, there's no such "way" to make bnrs, but if ur having trouble, I'll be helping u w/ that in the future lessons :) i s m a k i n g a b a n n e r t i me - c o n s u m i n g o r n o t ? well, that depends on how u like to make it. maybe u like to put a lot of time, effort and work on it, but others have diff ways. some like to make it less time - consuming, and some like to spend most of their time working on it ^^ mhm, I think that's most of the questions, let's start w/ the basic info now and then we'll move on to the quiz. a banner's basic needs (yes, it needs to live lmao): a bg (optional) pngs overlays text ur watermark (u don't want ur bnr to get stolen) anything else u want/ can think of lol nExT basic outlines + shadows: okay so this may bcm a tut, but oh well. w h a t ' s a n o u t l i n e ? an outline is basically a border for ur images... by images I mean like, pngs, overlays, text etc. w h a t ' s a d r o p s h a d o w ? a drop shadow is masically a SHADOW for ur images. h o w c a n w e a p p l y t h e s e t o o u r i m a g e s ? easy :) when u open pixlr e, there's a "filter" button at the top. once u click on that, there are multiple options, like blur, bloom, outline, drop shadow, vignette etc. QUIZ TIME ( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ ) less goo rules first: ○ no cheating, be honest :D ○ don't be worried to tell me ur scores, it's okay if u get less :) ○ don't use the desc to answer the questions. ○ have fun ^^ ○ total marks are 9 ○ I'll tell u ur marks once u submit the answers. ○ the deadline to complete the quiz is 25th apr EST ○ u can do this in ur homework folder if u wanna, but inform me when ur done doing the quiz if u are. ○ remix this proj and write ur answers below the questions in ur remix. for ex: Qum56bahlah tell me the vowels bahlah blah... the answer is... now less goo Q1 tell me 3 imp things that should be included in a banner Q2 what's an outline?
