Story here: Bakugo pressed his back against mine- we were surrounded now. “Stay close to me!” He hissed in my ear. “Let’s fight together!” “We can’t!” I protested. “They’ll k!ll us! They don’t have Midoriya or Kaminari- our best bet is to run and find them!” “That’s stupid. We’re already here...” the League of Villains got closer to us. “If we go out- which we won’t- at least we can go out fighting.” “Fine.” I lunged at Toga, hardening activated. She dodged my punch, and as I landed, she st@bbed her kn!fe into my back. I winced and rolled away from her. Bakugo was engaged in an intense battle with Dabi, one that he was definitely losing. I jumped up to help him, but Toga snuck up behind me and jabbed the kn!fe into my arm. It hurt like hell. A little gasp escaped my lips as I stumbled forward. The kn!fe made its way down my arm, the wound reaching my wrist before she gently pulled away. I was losing too much bl00d, but there was nothing that was going to stop me when I saw Dabi pin Bakugo down, holding a flaming hand above his nose. I jumped onto him, and he turned off the flames in surprise. Bakugo scrambled back, bl00d dripping into his left eye from a cut above his eyebrow. “C’mon!” He cried to me. “We need to get out of here!” I jumped up, trying my best to stay upright as I hurried towards him- I’d lost too much bl00d from the wound in my arm. “You’re hurt.” Bakugo noticed. “No time! Come on!” I sprinted down one of the dark hallways. “We need to get Aizawa!” I called back to Bakugo. He nodded and matched my pace. “You lost a lot of bl00d.” He yanked me down to the floor once we rounded a corner. “Here.” He took my hand and hand out my arm, then ripped his shirt and began to bandage the wound. “It’s not gonna keep it all in, but it’ll have to do for now.” I felt my face heat up the slightest bit. “T-Thanks...” I stuttered. “Are you hurt at all?” He silently shook his head. “We need to keep going. Deku and Kaminari might be hurt. Aizawa can help.” He stood up, then offered me a hand. I gratefully took it, and he pulled me up. Then I regretted having taken his hand. He’d pulled me up so we were face to face, inches away from each other. My face went bright red, and he just smiled- sadly, I noticed. “We really should get going.” He breathed. His face was just too close... but I wasn’t about to punch him- not this time. This time, I was about to do something else... But he pulled away and continued walking down the pitch black hallway. I swallowed. ‘He doesn’t like you, remember.’ I mentally reminded myself. Bakugo glanced over his shoulder. His eyes widened. “Kirishima!” He shouted. He lunged forward. It all happened too fast. The kn!fe, the bl00d, and then a small gasp from Bakugo. I heard a scream, but I didn’t know who it had come from. I remembered bl00d everywhere. That might’ve been why I passed out second later. Maybe not. I just woke up in the hospital wing at UA- that was all that I could remember as my eyes opened and the blinding white light hit me. I shot up, looking wildly around. Bakugo wasn’t there, and it panicked me. I felt a hand rest on my shoulder, and I glanced to my side. Kaminari was sitting there. He seemed to know exactly what- or who, I guess- I was looking for. “He’s not here. He’s at the hospital in the city.” He murmured. “Badly hurt.” “W-What even happened?” I croaked. “All I remember is a lot of bl00d and someone screaming.” “Yeah, he... he was awake when we found you guys. It was you- you had screamed, and when we heard that, we rushed to you guys. And then we had to go get Aizawa, cause Bakugo was... well...” “Weren’t you hurt by the League? Didn’t they hurt you?” “No. They didn’t touch us. We saw them, and managed to get away before they saw us. But they knew we were in there. They probably were trying to lure you guys out.” He shrugged. “Is Bakugo... is he going to be okay?” I whispered, feeling sick. “How badly was he hurt?” “He’ll probably be fine... he lost consciousness about three hours ago. He got, like, this bad wound through his stomach. Damaged something, apparantly. Before he passed out he kept saying ‘I need Eijiro. Get me Eijiro.’ over and over again. If you feel well, you should probably head over there.” Kaminari smiled. “I feel great.” I immediately replied, standing up. I wobbled, and Kaminari caught me. “Let’s get going, then!” ---
Continued here: Aizawa had driven us to the hospital. I’d been too hyper- worried about Bakugo. When we finally arrived, I could’ve sworn I heard Aizawa mumble, “Thank god.” I rushed into the hospital and up into Bakugo’s room. He was laying on a bed, passed out. His chest and stomach were wrapped in bandages, yet the bl00d still seemed to be soaking through. He was pale and looked restless. I sat on the bed beside him. “Hey. I’m here.” I whispered, though I knew he couldn’t hear me. “I was told you wanted to see me?” He shifted, and his eyes flickered open. “K-Kirishima...” “How are you feeling?” “Hot.” I almost said, “You are” before I realized he meant that he felt hot- like the temperature. Not... yeah. “I... I’m sorry...” he managed, reaching out to take my hand. His was trembling. Just like mine when I’d confessed to him. “I didn’t mean... mean what I said when you... you... I...” he took a deep breath, seemingly having a hard time getting out his words. “It’s okay, just... take your time.” I smiled reassuringly. “When you said you... liked me...” He gripped my hand tighter. “I said something I didn’t... I didn’t mean it. I didn’t mean to say it.” “What do you mean?” “I was... I was scared, so I went to my d-default excuse... being mean. And so I... I said I didn’t like you, but... but I didn’t mean to say that, I wish I hadn’t...” he closed his eyes and sighed. “I made a mistake.” “Right, but-” “I’m tired.” He murmured. “Good night...” then he passed out once more. I looked at him, a concerned look on my face. “Good night... Katsuki...” END OF CHAPTER SEVEN Art not mine!
