Blue Mountain Ranch has started a Western showing and rodeo organization to make western riding more popular in Hoof Prints and Meadowfield! THIS SHOW: Western Trail!! --What is Western Trail?: Western Trail is a western style event/competition where "the idea is to show how well you and your horse work together, you’ll be judged on your teamwork over a series of obstacles. The obstacles can either be in an enclosed ring or outside on an open course and will consist of a variety of different challenges. These can include things such as crossing a bridge, stepping over a series of logs, side passes (typically with the horse’s feet on either side of a rail), or 90° and 180° turns as well as backing the horse up while opening and closing gates." (from Horse Factbook) One important thing about Blue Mountain Shows is that the results won't just be results, it'll be an actual "vlog" on the show showing all the competitors competing on their horses!
