Story Here: Days came and went. Bakugo was getting stronger each day, until after a week, he was allowed to come back to UA. I’d stayed with him the whole week after what he’d said the first day. He hadn’t spoken about it since. I really wished he would. Mostly so that I wouldn’t have to. We walked back into UA together. Bakugo was leaning heavily on me- apparently he still couldn’t walk a straight line- and I honestly couldn’t help but blush. The crush was back. ‘Stop, stop, stop. Stop thinking that. Just stop!’ I chastised myself mentally. It was silly to have a crush on him- he had even told me he didn’t like me back! But what he’d said in the hospital... “He was delirious.” I said aloud, without even noticing. “Um, what?” Bakugo glanced at me. “Who are we talking about? Who’s delirious?” “Oh, sorry! I didn’t mean to say that out loud... I was just thinking...” “I am honestly scared of whatever you’re thinking.” Bakugo teased, smirking. “So, uh, who were you thinking about?” “Just... something someone said to me. But I don’t think it was true, because he was, like, sick, right? So he was probably just muttering random strings of words.” I smiled weakly. Obviously, I couldn’t hide how much I desperately wanted everything he’d said to be true. “Oh. Well... what did he say? And who are we even talking about? I’m still confused.” He admitted. “Nothing. Nothing at all.” I laughed. “Just ignore me! Muttering random stuff, I may as well be delirious myself.” “Well, it seems like it matters to you, from the look on your face.” He noted, stepping away from me. “So just tell me!” “No.” I stuck my tongue out at him. “You’re like a toddler!” Bakugo complained. “I know.” I smirked. “C’mon. Kaminari keeps texting me like crazy. Everyone’s excited to see you.” “Ugh... a bunch of extras asking me questions and worrying about me? No way. Can we just go back to the hospital before I get ambushed?” He grumbled. “Nope.” I gripped his hand and dragged him into UA. “Wait.” Bakugo froze in his tracks. “You said that the person who said something to you was a guy. He was sick. I’m a guy, and I was sick. Oh. Now I know exactly what you were talking about...” “Um... that thing you said to me. Before. Like, something along the lines of, 'I take back everything I said to you when you confessed to me’?” I blinked up at him. “Care to explain?” “Nope. I don’t care to explain at all.” He turned and started walking into UA. “So you’re just gonna leave me in the dust like that? Are you scared to say what you were going to?” Bakugo glanced over his shoulder. “No. I'm not scared.” “Then say it!” “No!” “Scared!” “I am not!” “Yes you are!” “Am not!” “I’m not doing this with you today.” I stalked past him, throwing open the doors of UA. “Come on.” “Kirishima, I didn’t mean to make you mad, I just...” he faltered. “Okay, I'm scared. Happy?” He frowned and crossed his arms, looking everywhere except me. “That’s all I wanted to hear.” I smirked, then continued into UA. Bakugo looked plain shocked behind me. --- It was late- around eleven o’clock- and my room was almost pitch black. All expect for the pale light coming from my phone. I was half asleep. But I kept getting text messages from Kaminari- he was trying to get my attention. So I'd finally picked up my phone and replied. <What do you want?> I texted. <I'm literally trying to sleep.> <And so was I!> Kaminari replied. <Then why are you texting me? Let me sleep!> <No! Bakugo’s gone!> <What?> my eyes widened slightly. Bakugo... gone? What did he mean? <I don’t know! I went to go return him something I borrowed, and he was gone! His room was trashed! I’m scared, Kiri!> <Meet me in front of his room. Now.> I shoved my phone in my pocket and rushed to Bakugo’s door- Kaminari arrived there a few seconds later. I opened the door without a second thought. There were pieces of his notes ripped up and strewn across the room. His blankets were messed up. Clothes were flung from the closet. The chair that he had at his desk was flipped on its side. Books were scattered around on the floor. His bookshelf was broken. And Kaminari was right. He wasn’t anywhere in sight. Bakugo was gone.
