The Noroi eventually infected chikara, using him as a host to assist with its life goal: To infect everything and be the strongest being. at first, the noroi had a weak hold on chikara. after it made him kill all of his colleagues, chikara gained enough power back to seal himself in an airlock, leaving him stuck there until some of king vegeta's men went to investigate the missing scientists. chikara was a low-class fighter, but with the noroi controlling him, it made it difficult for even king vegeta's strongest men to capture him. eventually, he was brought in front of king vegeta himself and made to testify, leading to chikara's exile from planet vegeta. chikara agreed that he should be exiled, as it would stop the virus from spreading to the entire saiyan race, which would be an issue for the universe in its entirety, if a race as battle-hardened as the saiyans became that powerful and malicious. chikara's exile meant that he was off the planet when frieza destroyed it. chikara spent a lot of time ravaging planets before he came to earth to fight the z fighters, which meant he gained the power and techniques of all of those planets through the noroi. He destroyed earth and killed shenron, giving him wish granting powers. he fought and lost to goku, who used forced spirit fission to weaken the noroi, allowing chikara to regain control and wish back the earth and all the people he killed. He is forced to give the wish granting powers back to dende afterwards. The noroi was far too strong to be eradicated, but it was sealed behind 12 inner barriers, stopping its influence completely.
