(Fake) Logo: Same as the 2007 The Criterion Collection logo, but "The Criterion Collection" is replaced with "Criterion Co." while the logo fades out instead instead of cutting to black. Variants: There is a variant where "Criterion Co." slides to the hole of the C after the C's formation. In open-matte versions, the finished logo zooms out and slides to the left before stopping in the center. Widescreen and scope versions only have it panning. There is a still version of the logo, with only the C. The other still version of the logo, has the full logo, the Criterion Co. logo. There is a short variant, starting with the sliding of the text. There is a long 30-second variant, the long variant included another C after the formation and all Cs are now upright. After the 2 Cs formation, we zoom out to see the whole logo. Technique: 2D computer animation designed by Pentagram Animation. Music/Sounds: None, but some shows that have the variant above had the closing logo of the theme. Music/Sounds Variants: Theatrical releases may include a repeatingly ascending and descending harp. The long 30sec version has the same harp but longer. Availability: Fairly common. The descending and ascending harp is rare, only seen on TV spots. The Criterion Co. full logo variant is uncommon. The long 30sec variant can only be seen in the first film of Criterion Co. after The Criterion Collection switched.
