┊┊❁ཻུ۪۪♡ ͎. ｡˚ ° ⇢ ˗ˏˋ “ march [ dtae ] ” ࿐ྂ - ̥۪͙۪˚┊❛ 01 :: instructions ❜┊˚ ̥۪͙۪◌ ✰ press the green flag to begin ✰ enjoy - ̥۪͙۪˚┊❛ 02 :: character description / backstory ❜┊˚ ̥۪͙۪◌ name ✰ marcelline (march) pronouns ✰ she / her age ✰ appears 13, true age unknown species ✰ demonling likes ✰ chaos, bright colors, justice, vengeance dislikes ✰ unfairness, authority figures, rules traits ✰ untidy, clever, mischievous, risk taker abilities ✰ curses, inter-dimensional travel: march has the power to place a curse on any individual. she chooses to keep her curses petty and annoying, although usually she makes it so that the punishment fits the crime, of sorts. because of this, people who do worse things end up with worse curses. march also has the ability of inter-dimensional travel, since she goes from her home in the underneath to earth frequently. backstory ✰ when children die at a young age, many things can happen to them depending on their personality. one particular thing is for a young, trickster child to become a demonling and live in the underneath, close by to those punished souls. a demonling is a child that grows to a certain age and then is let out into the world to punish those who act badly. when march was two years old, she fell out of her apartment building window, plummeting to her death. as a mischievous child, she was granted her horns and tail and learned to become a demonling. when her physical form reached the age of 13, she was deemed ready and her form stopped aging. march uses her powers to give out petty curses. for example, she would curse a boy who bullies others for their clothes with the curse that none of his clothes will ever fit him, and it will always be noticeable that his clothes are too small. march often finds herself on the run from law enforcement, but chooses to lead them on the chase even though she could transport away at any time due to her trickster nature. in fact my drawing is of her hiding. when march’s eyes glow, it signifies that she is about to transport away. every demonling has a specific condition that makes their powers stronger. march’s powers are strongest during, you guessed it, the month of march. during this time she shys away from petty curses and punishes people who truly have done wrong things and who may think that they have gone off unscathed. another one of march’s hobbies is touring the underneath and watching punished souls. she is sometimes known as a savior as when she noticed a misplaced punished soul, she is sure to report it and get the soul out of the underneath. she also likes to speak to alive humans who are victims or troubled, as these people are very likely to give her good ideas for curses. - ̥۪͙۪˚┊❛ 03 :: notes ❜┊˚ ̥۪͙۪◌ ohmygosh i seriously had to squeeze this entry in. i had plans to enter for this contest but i forgot- it’s a little past midnight as i write this haha. thank goodness i finished!! anyways i really had fun with this entry! coming up with the backstory was a blast and this design was so fun to come up with. thank you for this opportunity and i hope you like my entry <3 - ̥۪͙۪˚┊❛ 04 :: credits ❜┊˚ ̥۪͙۪◌ ✰ art :: justalunatic ✰ character design :: stella8000 ✰ music :: “ pixel galaxy ” by snail’s house ( slowed ) ┊┊❁ཻུ۪۪♡ ͎. ｡˚ °
