“Alright, starting with Matt. If so, how many siblings do you have, and what are their names?” Miranda says to Matt. “Well, I have a six year old brother, Michael and an eight year old brother, Jaxon. My one year old sister, Natalie, and my twin sister who is seventeen like me, Lissa.” Matt explains to the group. “Alright! Next, Livi! If so, what instrument, or instruments do you play?” Miranda asks Livi. “Well, I play the clarinet, and the oboe,” Livi responds. “Alright! That's fun! Now Ella, what are three things that most people don't know?” Miranda says to Ella. “Heh, well for a starter, I'm thirteen years old, ummm, I ride horses, and I like video games!” Ella says. The small crowd is silent, until Miranda says, “Nice! Now, it’s Amara’s turn! Your question is… What is your favorite color?” “It’s Turquoise!” Amara says. “Nice! That’s such a beautiful color!” Miranda says to Amara. “Kay! Now it’s Zoeys turn, why are you here?” Miranda asks Zoey, the dark, curly haired girl, with tan-ish skin. “Well, my mom decided to send me here because I kinda failed math,” she said disappointedly. “Ok!” Miranda continues. As the group continues to introduce themselves along with a question, it becomes very late at night, and the group decides to head to bed. While they walked down the hallway to their rooms, they said their good nights, climbed into their beds, and went to sleep. At two AM about, Miranda rushes past each of the rooms in the cabin shouting. Most of the campers woke at the piercing sounds of Mari’s scream. “W-Whats wrong?” Zoey says sleepily. “There’s a freaking rat invasion in the counselor's room!” Mari tells them, breathing heavily. “We could all camp up on the top bunks, someone could come with me!” Livi says quietly. “Yeah, let’s do that,” Mari says. “I’ll go with Livi,” Matt states, and starts walking to Livi, and Ella’s room, and climbs into Livi’s bunk. Livi shortly follows, bringing Zoey to one of the open bunks in her room, and then climbs up into the bed and sits next to Matt. “She was really tired, so I offered to bring her to the last open bunk,” Livi tells Matt, as they notice that Ella rolls on her side and wakes up asking, “Livi, what’s going on?” “Oh, Mari said that she saw a rat infestation in her room,” Matt explains nervously. After this, nobody could recall what happened because of the scream from Ella that pierced everyone’s ears. In the morning, Mari asks Livi “Do you remember anything?” “Umm, well all I remember is after her scream, she fell off her bed, and began to cry,” Livi responds, “Then I went with Matt, and Declan to the nurses office with Ella.” “That was very kind of you Livi, Matt, and Declan,” Miranda tells them, and they all nod.
