hello scratch community, kai here. i just want to say- this is it. im officially quitting scratch & im not returning. before i go however, i'd like to share some things with you. my journey has been quite an interesting one, & in both good & bad ways. i've had a good time with some people, but have also had alot of bad experiences with certain people & groups on this platform & that is the main reason for me quitting. as you know, alot of my past content was gacha based, & i occasionally posted art or other things, but it was mainly gacha projects. i had alot of lore & cool ideas that were all tied together & in one big story, but it never came to fruition. alot of the time people would just take a look at it & call in cringe, or nobody would ever see it, which caused me a lack of motivation to continue posting. some of my projects WERE cringe- but at the time it upset me that people that i thought were my friends or were nice, were now just making fun of me. i was 11 at the time. also, on several occasions did people come out & attack me via email, & even on the platform. the most memorable one being from a now banned user that was called 'exposing freaks' & continuously harassed me via email & even made a few posts about me- i was still 11. also, i have NOT had a good experience with the gacha community. i tried to make content that didn't follow trends & was original in some way, but then again i was underrated & if i did get any comments they were usually making fun of me. also, several people i admired disliked me simply because i was in the gacha fandom & harassed me. also, there is way too much drama in the community & it honestly made it not-so appealing to me. i do still appreciate the effort & respect non-problematic gacha creators, but i am not returning to the community. also, i grew out of scratch. it was originally something that my friends @Neonlily & @Violetsun2000 got me to join for silly warrior cats stuff, & they told me the site was fun & everyone was nice. it was at first, & i even got my siblings to join in aswell. however as time progressed, they grew out of it & i wanted to stay. i got with my siblings & we started messing around by making posts about each other, until people thought it was serious & started taking sides. it got to the point where i had to tell everyone it was all a harmless joke between us & that it was never involving them. this was the whole situation of us pretending to steal posts & do the funny 'team blue' & that stuff. it was all for fun. also, i was so active on the site it took away my time to do other things, & my parents even told me to stop. i didn't listen though, & it got me in trouble several times when i was younger. they eventually stopped caring & thought it was over with after awhile, but i still did occasionally post. & lastly, people assuming & forgetting the context or the project's very clear description. i don't know how many times i've had people say- "omg u ship them?? gross!" or something ecven though it very clearly says- "NOT A SHIP" in the description. seriously bro. im not coming back to scratch- but i'll still be on other platforms. for anyone who's actually reading this, im sorry but im just so done with this. -Kai
