If you enjoyed this game, please leave a ❤️ + ⭐! MODDING TUTORIAL FURTHER DOWN! Click flag twice or more (but don't spam or else the background stuff might break) Behold, the culmination of the overused Scratch trend known as DOORS that gets any low-effort project tons of undeserved views! And yes, I know there is literally nothing original about this project whatsoever. I kinda just smashed two popular things together and hoped for the best. That being said... enjoy! In case you're wondering what I mean, I define "modding" as adding new characters with unique buffs, something that people seem to be having some trouble with. With that, this section is dedicated to answering modding questions. So how do you add buffs anyway? 1. Find the sprite "flappy" and hit the costumes tab. 2. Memorize the costume number of your character. 3. Go to the background sprite and hit the "code" tab. 4. Scroll all the way to the right to a very long script. 5. Find your character's number in the script. 6. If your number is not there, create it. 7. Adjust the variables under the number to your liking. 8. Congratulations, your character now has buffs! 9. If you have any questions, scroll further down. If you still don't understand, here are some answers to frequently asked questions related to modding: Q: What does the "long script" look like? A: It is much longer than the other scripts. It should have a lot of if-statements and consecutive numbers representing each costume. Make sure to mimic the format if you have to add a new number. Q: How do I create my number? A: Assuming your number isn't already there, follow the pattern of the other numbers and place a new if-else block after all the other numbers. The "if" should contain the same set of blocks as the other numbers, and the "else" should contain the blocks that were in the previous "else". Q: How do I know what to set the numbers to? A: You can change the numbers to anything you like, but it is a good idea to test each change you make to ensure that nothing goes wrong. You should typically avoid using very large numbers. Q: The buffs don't do anything to my character! A: Check that you followed the instructions correctly. If your character has no buffs or buffs different from the ones you set, you got the costume number wrong. Q: How do I display my character's buffs? A: This may seem fairly obvious, but just in case, all character information is found in the "screen" sprite. Replace the contents of the costume corresponding to your character's number, or make a new costume. The new costume MUST be placed before the one with the skull on it, or else your character's stats will be displayed upon death. Do not edit the skull costume unless you want to change the death screen.

Spamming the same tags over and over won't magically make your projects popular, you know. © Feb 01, 2023
