Hi everyone! Just to point out, I know that i'll receive a lot of negative feed back from army, but if you can, please refrain from those comments. if such comments are commented, I'll delete them. no hate is intended to bts or any army. let's go! It's time the truth came out- I was the hugest BTS fan for two years until Summer of 2022, they just kind of faded away and I lost interest in them, I also found stray kids more intriguing so I decided to ult them along with Newjeans. And in my rebellious immature ARMY days, I was like "Noo guys it's NOT a phase-" It was. And I didn't only leave the ARMY because I lost interest naturally in BTS, the fandom embarrassed me. Let me tell you why I'm just a luke-warm fan. (I still respect BTS and love them and their music, I'm just barely involved with them anymore.) Okay. So many people have heard that recently Taehyung has called out ARMY because they kept being like "YOONGI MARRY MEE!!" *insert laughing emoji 5 times and 7 purple hearts here* Yeah.. kinda embarrassing that he had to call them out right? They don't know when to stop.. the joke isn't funny anymore, in fact I'm sure it's quite hurtful to take the effort and go live for your fans just for them to talk about someone else. I know if that happened to me i'd be like "peace out my guys" and just end the live. Taehyung asked them to ask him genuine questions and all they said was "yoongi marry me" "when will you come to.. (insert country here)" "CAN YOU COME TO (country)" (like he can even control that) or like "taehyungie oppa" *heart eyes emoji* and they're probably not even Korean. obviously some are, but i feel like they just OBSESS over these men.. and they've earned a bad reputation for themselves. Now, every kpop fandom has it's toxic community, but BTS fandom is a different breed. I made a video on Y0utub3 about how I wasnt going to make BTS content anymore because I liked stray kids better and stuff and how i was voting for skz for the MNET awards, but gooduck to bts and I explained how i just lost interest, i didnt dislike them, i just needed a fresh start. and the army came and attacked me saying "youre bad for not being able to stay in one fandom" and "BTS WILL ALWAYS WIN. THEY MAY BE GONE THIS YEAR SO HAVE FUN WINNING THIS YEAR BUT WHEN THEY COME BACK THEY WILL WIN" and BTS did win, and I was fine with that, my ARMY self would've been so happy and I was happy for BTS because they worked hard, I mightve wanted stray kids to win but we dont always get what we want, right? i read the comments and i just thought- chill out for once, will you? And trust me, I know there's some armys out there who are respectful and mature, and i applaud you for being a role model and respectful, don't think I don't see you. I just think it's time for a change.. be more respectful. they're full grown men, please stop treating them like teenagers/kids. With all do respect. This behavior is troubling. There's a loss of genuine respect which has been replaced with attention-seeking behavior among new ARMY. The members must feel like they are constantly being mobbed by people who selfishly only want to take, take, take. Real ARMYs focus on giving to the members--giving respect, love, and encouragement. Fans are a representation of the artist because they connected with the artist but it's sad to see so many ignorant people pretending to be fans and spoiling the image of the fandom.
