~~~Wow, this one's gonna be a fun ride... (sorry this is really late, I was prepping for school stuff and got super sidetracked) Hi everyone, for those who care...WELCOME TO EMPIRE STRIKES BACK WOOOOO my 3rd FAVORITE STAR WARS MOVIE AGOESIWJHGIURSIJGNSFDJN anyway, to be frank I love this movie a lot. like, if I had to compare this one on a Marvel Scale of Eternals to Spider-Man No Way Home, it'd be right up there with Infinity War and the first Iron Man. ~Review~ This movie starts, ends, and is filled to the brim with strong stuff. The fact that the formula for a good Star Wars movie got nailed so early on kind of leaves me in awe, just 'cause they had so many good points, which I'll get to in a second. First, I'm gonna hit the select few negatives I can remember having about this ~ Cons: ~ The biggest con to me doesn't technically have to do with the movie, but a random silly fact having to do with Yoda in the OG trilogy: Frank Oz is the voice of Yoda in both the prequels and OG's and is a well-known Muppet Performer(Best known as Fozzie). Yoda - being PLAYED BY A MUPPET PERFORMER - should be considered a Muppet and DEFINITLEY should have been in the wedding scene from Muppets Take Manhattan. Random rant is random, but whatever. Secondly, I'm still a little mad that Dak dies in the Hoth fight scene when he and Luke and the rest are taking out AT-AT's. It's not deserved because he's not built up enough as a character, and...I don't know, that's just a small complaint I have. It does make Luke's taking down that AT-AT with the detonator that much cooler, though. ~ That's all I can nitpick, time for the fun part ~ PROS(and there's a lot of them): Where to begin? really and truly, this movie is so good on such a number of levels. The start of it is solid, not the worst by far, but not my favorite in my opinion - still pretty solid though, HOLY FRIG the fight scenes are cool in this one(compared to previous, not upcoming). The most "Chef's Kiss" moment(s) in my opinion is probably the scenes with Yoda, which are just awesome, especially that Cinematic MASTERPIECE where he lifts Luke's X-Wing out of the swamp. that's pretty dang cool. It's been so long since I've seen this movie I honestly can't tell you every little opinion on it, but It's an honest-to-goodness amazing movie. Probably an 8.5/10, definitely would recommend.
