The family and I were in Santa Fe looking at some wind sculptures outside of the Loretto Chapel. One of them struck our fancy. It comprises two wheels. Each wheel contains eight spokes bent in an angle. The wheels share the same axel but oriented with spokes bent in opposite directions and the wind blows them in different directions. Although just rotating, it looks as if the spokes open and close as claws. This project imitates the effect of this sculpture.
