Name: Violet Backstory: Violet is well-skilled in the art of spellcraft, particularly that of illusions and light. She lives in the woods, and those walking through there may see the light of her lantern bobbing on the edge of the path. While stories of ghosts and spirits have been conjured up to explain these lights, in truth it is Violet, going for a midnight walk. Though she lives alone, she is fond of people, and does enjoy playing tricks with her magic on late-night travellers (but she always offers them food and a place to stay in exchange for being the subject of her antics). Her age is unknown, and quite likely unknowable, and her life and birth are just as cloudy. Perhaps she is as old as the woods themselves.
