Chapter One My wings splashed under the waterfall, spraying water everywhere. I was flying to see my mom and ask if I could go to the beach, so I could get away from my annoying siblings. I landed on the top pavilion, which had been obliterated in the war. Her Majesty, Aunt Hurricane, The Queen, Our Savior, Boss, whatever you call her, had ordered it to be rebuilt without a throne, so she could be at eye-level with her subjects. The only seats were for her two pet tiger sharks, which she had enchanted to breathe oxygen if need be. I knew that the Queen and my mother would be there, and I was right. They were arguing about economy and boring adult stuff, so I figured they needed an interruption. I barged in between them, and Aunt Hurricane whipped out her trident in the blink of an eye, thinking I was an enemy. Once she realized who I was she put it away, but wearily kept her claws close to the hilt. “Can I go to the beach?” I asked politely. My mom glanced at me, not replying. But I knew mom would say yes, because whenever she is reluctant about something, Aunt Hurricane always persuades her, and she didn’t let me down this time. “Come on, Abyss! Let them live a little! We had adventures all the time as kids! Why not her?” Aunt Hurricane pleaded. “That’s because you dragged me by the wrist.” My mom muttered under her breath before turning to me and saying, “Fine! But come back if you feel uncomfortable, or scared, or sick, or lonely!” Aunt Hurricane gave a huge eye-roll at this, but kept quiet. “Bye, love you mom!” I called as I jumped off the platform. “Love you too, Coral!” she called down to me. I quickly reached the beach. It was a medium-sized island with a few palms, sun dappled rocks, and calm tides. I often went there to not only escape from my three siblings, Ripple, Whirlpool, and little Shark, but to also work on my writing. Currently, I was working on a small story about what would happen if a Queen was killed by say, a scavenger, and her 3 daughters were left to fight for the throne, and they turned it into a war, and dragged all the other tribes into it. I was so involved in my writing, I almost missed the dark shape of a dragon rushing past the shoreline. ⠂⠁⠈⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠂⠁⠈⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠂⠁⠈⠂ So this is a sequel to a book I already wrote (not on Scratch), and you have to read that to make this make more sense. This is meant to be Queen Coral's backstory, but I'll summarize the other book quickly. Basically, Hurricane and Abyss are sisters, and there's this huge war about the throne yada, yada, yada. So, that's all, have a nice day! (This is a WoF fan-fic, and I included some little details in there... ;D ) Co-writer:
