Click or press space to switch between the drawings Update 5/8/23 - Congrats to @Fennikthefox for winning the Aviair design, and to @Shy_Pj for winning Macaron! :] It was really hard to decide on which character I preferred :'] but if I had to choose one it'd probably be either Lunum or Macaron (I love all of these designs how dare you make me choose /nm /hj) - Glossary - - The trio as young children waiting for Aviair's beauty contest or school dance while simultaneously trying to preserve her glitter make-up - The trio as young children; Macaron becoming the victim of Aviair's dress-up game and Lunum trying to hold his laughter to avoid Macaron's potential wrath - Lunum as a baby along with a potential adult design - Same as above, but adult Lunum is wearing armor - Macaron as a baby along with a potential adult design - Same as above, but adult Macaron is wearing armor - Aviair as a baby along with a potential adult design - Same as above, but adult Aviair is wearing an outfit - General Info - The three of them are varying levels of Outside Kid'™, because of this they all gained interest in insects (hence their bug-themed outfits/armor later in life). As I was fleshing out their personalities I sort of fit them into the phrase of Brains, Beauty, and Brawn (like Blister, Blaze, and Burn from Wof or the King, Poet, and Soldier from the song Soldier, Poet, King).
[Glossary and general notes above] - Lunum - Gender - Male (he/him) Random Info - Ever since he was young, he wanted to join the royal guard or military, he always wanted to fight for and defend those he cares about. He was probably one of those kids who liked to play imagination games that involved swords/sword fights. He's the Brawn/Soldier of the trio and the oldest sibling. I decided to, since he wants to be a soldier, give him a set of armor which I themed around a rhinoceros beetle cuz why not (This is what led me to give them all bug-themed accessories)? Personality - Lunum is the kind of person who automatically put in charge of his other siblings when his parents are out of the house (as soon as they're old enough to be home alone, that is). He's the most responsible of the three of them, his siblings have made multiple jabs about him lacking a sense of humor or fun later in life; but the way he sees it is that if he's going to be a soldier, he's going to need to be as responsible and dedicated as possible. I imagine he has a similar personality to Iida from MHA. Voice Claim - Somewhere between Donnie from RTMNT and Deckard Wizard from Bee and Puppycat (teen/adult) Somewhere between Cardamon from Bee and Puppycat and Wybie from Coraline (child) - Macaron - Gender - Inter$ex (he/him | any pronouns later in life) Random Info - His armor is based on a honeybee, I chose this because honeybees are considered the smartest bug and Macaron is the Brain/King of the trio. He's the one who designed the armors for himself and Lunum along with Aviair's outfit. He's the middle child but his leadership skills can rival Lunum's quite easily. Macaron really enjoys insects and is pretty educated in the topic. Where Lunum is a great battle planner, Macaron is great at planning royal events, meetings, etc. He enjoys strategy games such as Chess. Personality - He is a pretty quiet person who usually only talks when talked to. Despite having more of a sense of humor than Lunum, he doesn't react too much to jokes (especially later in life). He usually lets Lunum give out orders to the royal family's subjects (considering that Lunum will likely become the king when their parents d1e because Lunum is the oldest), but Macaron is quick to help or even take over when the moment calls. Macaron is the kind of person to only resort to violence when he deems it to be necessary, but because of this he's had some instances where he bottled up his emotions later in life. He's lowkey sarcastic (monotone humor is his go-to when making jokes) but not to the point where it's annoying. Voice Claim - Cas Wizard from Bee and Puppycat (teen/adult) Somewhere around Chip from Beauty and the Beast (child) - Aviair - Gender - Female (she/her | she/they later in life) Random Info - I based the design of her outfit off of a Mourning Cloak butterfly (no reason behind the specific species, I just thought the wing design was pretty and easy to simplify/draw). Her and Macaron had an entire argument over adding some form of defense to her outfit (they came to a compromise, the thing on her chin that represents the butterfly's proboscis is actually sharp and can be used as a we, but it's the only defensive aspect of her accessories so she doesn't have to worry about bulky armor messing with her outfit/mobility). She's the Beauty/Poet of the trio, and aside from Lunum she's the most well-known of the royal children. Similar to how Lunum is great at battle plans and Macaron is great at official/private royal business, Aviair is the one who plans/runs parties and public events. She also enjoys writing poems/short stories from time to time. Personality - Aviair is the life of the party. She's definitely the most sociable and talkative of the siblings, but she's not that wise compared to them; she's also a bit of a rule-bender (which means she tends to get on Lumun's nerves). She wishes her brothers would "live a little" and she believes that they (mostly Lunum) are party poopers. Voice Claim - Somewhere between Lake from Infinity Train and Scorpia from She-ra (adult) Somewhere between Bee from Bee and Puppycat and Princess Daisy from Super Mario Strikers (teen/child)
