MOVE with the ARROW KEYS Don't touch the ghosts, or you risk losing a life. Eat Pellets to gain points. Eat all the pellets in the room to proceed to the next level. Eat POWER-PELLETS to gain the ability to devour the ghosts. Have fun!!! Here's some stuff I changed(removed or added) about the original pacman. -Pellets have animations -Ghosts have animations -Player has an idle animation -Map has fewer parts, so you'll be able to see the player and ghosts without squinting -Only one Power Pellet -Pac Cat has Hitpoints instead of lives -Cool room transition -The ghosts are the Pico, Giga, Tera, and Gobo sprites -This game features redesigns of the scratch sprites in my vector style(you'll see that a lot more from me in my future games).
I can't believe that it's been almost a year since the first Scratch Week I experienced on this platform. It truly has been quite a ride since then, and my coding and art skills have improved a lot(or I would hope so, anyway). While making this project, I realized just how much we take for granted the code of the original Pac-Man game. Pac-Man was not only really advanced for its time, but it's still quite tricky to code today! The power of scratch also allowed me to add some fun features that weren't in the original, too! Well, anyway, I hope you enjoy this fun game and have a happy Scratch Week!!! Fun Fact: roughly 1500 code blocks were placed to create this game.
