entry for #7!! this was made in ibispaint x! apologies if the drawing seems pixelated! im currently experiencing some issues with uploading art from my phone to my computer & most of it turns out horribly pixelated but then again its probably my canvas size xd btw, it was rlly fun drawing this character!!
name: iridia/irida/iris (i like all 3 names but ill decide on one eventually,, theyre all based on the word iridescent or the greek goddess of rainbows) pronouns + gender: she/they, demigirl species: winged cat sexuality: lesbian personality: very bubbly overall & kind, basically the personification of a rainbow. she usually brightens other's days up, & is really cheerful even in the face of danger. basically like a cat-pinkie pie lol backstory: nobody seems to know where it came from, but one day an egg appeared on a cloud. it hatched into iridia/irida/iris, who was raised by another winged cat (atm i have no design or name for them, but if i get really invested into this character i might actually make them. their theme would probably be the sun or plain clouds). she quickly took to making others happy & it is their passion in life. currently, she has a best friend (no design or name yet, but her theme will probably be thunderstorm based to contrast iridia/irida/iris) who they also have a crush on (they like each other but don't think the other one likes them back rip) other details: her wings don't actually work, she 'flies' around by walking on clouds that just pop up underneath her feet. they can also be used to glide around. she can sort of control the weather but only in small areas for a short period of time, she usually uses this to help others (ex. creating rain over dying plants, clearing up the clouds so someone can have their picnic) she has a pet chameleon (she carries it around with her in a little cloud)
