This is how it started a few months ago: my friends had a friend that I had to become friends with to stay their friend. I didn't like her too much but that is beside the point. Lets call her Sarah. Now Sarah is very goth and emo and I have no problem with that. She had a boyfriend that I didn't like (he's been my neighbor forever and he is just... blah). Lets call him Buck. Anyways, My BEST FRIEND (who I've known for 9 years) says that she likes Sarah's boyfriend, Buck, and has told him that she feels that way. Buck breaks up with Sarah but tells my best friend he isn't sure if he'd date her. Of course, Sarah is freaking out in the group chat, especially because she didn't know who made Buck break up with her. (at the time, me and my best friend were on her trampoline at her house). My best friend requested that I tell them it was her who did it and OML was Sarah and her friends furious at me because this is suddenly my fault. All but two people in the group chat are now cussing me out and being jerks. They say they don't want to be my friend anymore and etc. A few days later, I'm unable to attend breakfast with my best friend and she told me that she asked to eat with Sarah and her friends instead. Sarah tells her no and so my best friend walks to an empty table and starts to CRY. When I heard this, I was FURIOUS. The other day, my best friend told me one of Sarah's friends said that I'm annoying.(BTW, I just got over it until today. I'm literally crying right now.) So today I noticed the guy I like (lets call him... Alex) sits at their lunch table. I of course, go up to Alex after lunch and tell him the short end of the story, that they told me they hate me for no good reason. He says: " they said you're a jerk for some reason." Like, WHAT DID I ACTUALLY DO!? I told him I'm not as he walked into his fourth hour. I seriously wanted to cry. Does he think I am a jerk? Idk. I'm thinking of tomorrow saying this, "I had planned a speech but I don't even know if we are friends." (hopefully he says we are) "Well anyways, I need you to do a favor. Tell me if your table says anything else mean about me. You don't have to betray me or anything but please. I will literally do anything for you if you do that for me." What do you guys think? Also, please support me and offer suggestions and pretty much anything.
