SO. I've gotten some comments about how I used a reference on one specific post i did a while ago. They seemed to be criticizing the fact that i did in fact use a reference off pinterest. Idk how common of a problem that is for people but I wanna just come out and say, Using references is not bad. It's highly encouraged. It isn't stealing nor tracing (if you actually dont trace :D). I just felt a bit mad about the fact that people consider using references as cheating, it's just a pure source for learning. How else would you ever get proportions, lighting, hair etc. right? Please don't attack people for using references, it can really hurt. :)
