Prologue-Hawk Hawk’s orange eyes roamed the darkened courtyard. The sounds of the nocturnal beasts outside the gate made him shiver at the thought. A nervous Skywing. Oh, I’m so happy that this is my son. He heard his mother sarcastically say before he was banned from the sky kingdom. He cringed. Almost everywhere I go, I am called that. He thought darkly. “Waiting for someone, Skywing?” a voice said, amused. “Yes, my dear Laceleaf.” Hawk turned around to face her, smiling with his teeth. Laceleaf got close to him, her usual cocky, brave voice gone as she whispered, “Are you sure you want to do this tonight?” “Yes, my dear.” he sighed romantically. “Alright.” Laceleaf touched her pack, sneering “Mother can worry about Butterwort challenging her now.” Laceleaf spread her leaf-like wings and flew up. Hawk followed her, his giant wings stretching their full length. Laceleaf glided carefully to avoid the dragon-traps. Hawk followed, keeping his orange eyes aware of the plants. They flew in silence for the rest of the night until they stopped at the beach to rest. Later, they flew for miles without a word until they came to rest on a small island. “We’ll make it there.” Hawk sighed, digging his claws into the sand. “Yes, to your wonderful kingdom to live in a cave and live a happy life.” Laceleaf dropped, and it showed that she was tired. “We will rest for the night. Then we will head on.” he glanced at Laceleaf. “I might slow us down.” she said. “How?” he asked. “Because-I’m with egg.” “I’M GONNA BE A DAD!” Hawk yelled. *They make it to the sky kingdom. Also they find a cave and make it their home. I didn't want to write that because I'm lazy*
