SPOLIER: It's a little short because there is a cliffhanger. Ch. 1 Oak Oak opened her eyes to see the light of dawn coming from her cave. She let out a yawn and stretched her large wings. Oak walked out of the cave, thinking, One day, I will challenge Queen Buzzard. Imagine that Buzzard! Beaten by a hybrid! It was her daily mantra, she had been training for since her parents disappeared. She was sure that Buzzard took them. She spread her wings and glided down to a little thicket of trees that she used as her hunting place. In the warm seasons they were usually abundant with prey. While in the cold, Oak had to thrive on ANYTHING that was edible. Anyways, Oak landed perfectly in the trees. The warm sunlight pierced through the leaves. Oak slowly stalked through the forest. A true hunter has patience she heard her mom’s voice had said, when Oak was only a little dragonet. Oak spotted a young buck, and thought wait for it, wait for it-now! She leaped out-only to collide with another dragon.
