Today BTS's maknae, Jungkook, went live to talk to his fans! While sharing a very pleasant and fun time with ARMYs, Jungkook couldn't help but bring up an issue that's been disturbing him: sasaengs. Sasaengs are obsessive fans who tend to stalk idols, invading their privacy and making them feel uncomfortable. Extreme examples include car accidents caused by stalkers when they were trying to tailgate an idol's vehicle, breaking into hotel rooms when they were sleeping, and trying to harm dancers that had performed with popular idols. Jungkook is no stranger to sasaengs, but although they have always been a problem, they've been getting more and more out of hand recently. Jungkook has had random strangers calling him multiple times in a row during his vlives, and fans who figured out his private schedule and followed him around. Recently, an unidentified person sent Jungkook some food to his apartment, flaunting their knowledge of his private address. BTS's maknae was scared by these attacks and addressed these inconsiderate stalkers today: "Please don’t send delivery food to my house I’m not going to eat it anyway. I’m thankful for the thought, but I can eat well on my own. So take care of your own meals, I beg you. If you send it one more time, I will check the receipt order number and take action. So stop it." -Jungkook He has tried to be gentle and said this with a smile on his face, but all these attacks have made Jungkook scared and annoyed. His loyal fans have been ranting against these rude and creepy stalkers on social media, and demanding that HYBE and BigHit take action against these obsessive fans that harm the mental health of our idols.
