✽ hello and welcome to my first ever (co)leader application for SWC july 2023 <3 ✽ "Spring is here, and it's your job to wake the animals up from their hibernation and slumber." ✽ I've known about SWC since February 2021, which is when I signed up for my first session in March that year. Since then, SWC has been a motivation and inspiration for me to write. (Maybe that's an understatement, you think, if you've been in enough sessions from then to now... you don't know me, do you? Oh, wait, I totally forgot my self-introductions...) ✽ Hi! I'm Yume (or Nabi, but mostly Yume), and welcome to my SWC leader application! This app is themed around spring, click different elements to read through my application and wake up the sleepy animals! I have had a few ideas for this as I've been thinking about it since the last session ended, but I settled with this one. ✽ instructons ✽ Click the slide, space or use arrow keys to advance through the pages, and down arrow to close the slides. I also apologise in advance if this was shared late, or the grammar isn't good. English isn't my primary language so I hope you understand! ✽ going back to what I started previously, some of you might be familiar with me from March 2023, and maybe if you have very good memory, remember me from March 2021. sadly, I wasn't able to join the sessions in between because I was on screen restrictions and schoolwork was really piling up, I did watch some sessions without being a camper though. I'm glad I have the time for SWC again, so I can further improve my writing and meet other like-minded campers ^^ ✽ I've only been a camper before, but recently, I've been feeling a little... empty. I wanted to help with the SWC community, to help other campers, and myself. I was, and still am, determined to help out, which is why I'm here right now! I put a lot of effort into this, so I hope you enjoy it! ✽ excerpt ✽ there is already a short excerpt of my writing inside (it's a poem), but if you want longer pieces, either go to https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/826045177/ which is the memory project I made for march 2023, or https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/666810/ which is my SWC writing thread for that session. ~ looking forward to this next session, whether as a co-leader or a camper! good luck to everyone else applying, you guys are all so cool ;0 ✽ credits ✽ - (aka yume, aaka me) for the code and art which was all done with the scratch editor - thumbnail design by me on canva - music is acoustic vibe by romansenykmusic "resilience and determination is the key to success" <3 oh, did I mention you can change the mouse trail color or show/hide it with the space bar?
