sosososo lore-- swap!jelqer's parents are: daniel: a tan crewmate with a top hat and an airship uniform. he had the sparkly visor decal thing. he was a very kind soul who wanted to help everyone he saw. he even wanted to help impostors become good. because of this, he may have been a bit too kind for his own good, even naive. he was happy being a sort of "malewife" to rosette. had a similar personality to og jelqer. rosette: a maroon crewmate with a black fedora and a black suit. rosette was a stern investigator who was extremely determined. she was very smart, finding out that black was not some normal impostor, but something infected with a parasite. she was a girlboss, and many of her crewmates called her a badass. had a similar personality to swap!jelqer. so basically on may 31, 2003, rosette went investigating. she knew that black wasn't normal, and she had found mysterious black goop everywhere, which she had figured out was a parasite. when rosette went to confront black, she didn't think things through and was immediately killed. jelqer was doing tasks with daniel at that time, so he did not see his mother get killed. daniel went to go find his wife, only to find her corpse. black then snuck up on daniel, slicing him in half with their knife. jelqer had to watch all of this happen. he was left parentless. he spent his entire childhood walking around in the ship his parents worked on, lonely, depressed, and not taking care of himself at all. at age 20, jelqer joined a new crew, crew . the newcomers in that crew included brown, powers, warchief, and dave. jelqer quickly became allies with all of them, but warchief kept bugging jelqer to become friends with him because he saw jelqer was lonely. jelqer eventually accepted because he was so annoyed. though a bit distant at first, jelqer eventually became emotionally attached to warchief because of warchief's kindness and charm. and then there's the present-day uhhh jelqer and warchief have been friends for like 5 years now,,, pink and the others are on the ship now too,, uhh yeah you all know that already and then in the future the crew defeats black yayayay and jel and warchief kiss or something idk and pink goes on the good side and they emotionally (or legally idk yet) adopt pink wahoo and then a few years later pink forces them to get married at gunpoint
