Well first off, if you know DustDust, you are either thinking canon!dustdust or Fannon!DustDust (TheFlameLord). Yes, the DustDust most popular is FANNON. There are MANY (old and outdated) differences here from the canon but if you want differences from Fannon, here you go. Grand!DustDust is corrupted by a corruption known as "Hatred". Well known for causing mass destruction across megaverses. Hatred thrives off of the feelings of hatred, guilt, and grief of living beings. Sans was very hateful towards Chara not knowing it was the players' fault. Sans unknowingly, fell to the corruption during the last reset. Grand!DustDust takes place after a PACIFIST dusttale timeline. Sans did NOT want any of this to happen. After being corrupted, nothing showed until 10 hours later. When Sans was walking alone to the ruins door, Sans lost control of himself. This is where the Hatred takes control if it isn't obvious. The Hatred forces Sans to commit mass genocide. Going as far as to kill the six human souls just to get a laugh. The Hatred uses NONE of Sans's power. During the first few hours of the beginning of the genocide, Sans was still conscious. Seeing the death of many that he was forced to kill. Sans wasn't in control at all, yet he was forced to watch hundreds of monsters die. After seeing all these deaths, the Hatred started to blame all the deaths IT caused on Sans. Filling Sans with guilt, another thing Hatred can thrive off but it doesn't prefer to unless the guilt was caused by the Hatred. the Hatred, being a megaversal corruption, was much more than strong enough to break the barrier. The Hatred then forced Sans to kill hundreds if not millions of humans. Appearances: Appears to be completely black with a white outline that can be seen by both the player and characters inside of the game. The hatred formed some sort of armor around the clothes Sans is already wearing, increasing his defense by a unknown amount. Some say it's in the quintillions, while others say it's in the septillions. The face (of the hatred) changes depending on what it feels in which it can feel 3 things: Boredom: Normal face. Squiggly mouth with oval shaped eyes. Enjoyment: Looks as if a toddler drew a wide smile from ear to ear. Oval shaped eyes. Anger: Glowing eyes. Squiggle mouth. Phase 1: Sans is still conscious, allowing you to see that half of his face is still normal while half of the face is the hatred expression. Phase 2: Sans is no longer conscious. Wide smile and holding a knife. Phase 3 (Regretful Run): Elongated arms and legs. 4 Tentacles Sprawling out from the back used as a weapon to fight. Sans is conscious once again but in pain. Sans kept his red eyes after the reset and still remembers everything. Although he remembers the resets, he also remembered the latest reset, the pacifist route. That was enough to get Sans to keep his sanity. Sans kept his red eyes due to being hateful towards Chara thinking they were the one who caused the constant genocide routes. This was his mistake. This mistake would put him in more pain that he was in before. ---Profile(s)--- Sans: Filled with extreme hatred towards the player and guilt. Sans lost his hatred after falling towards the Hatred corruption and is now filled with only guilt. Sans does not contribute to the Hatreds' genocide other than being the Hatred's host. Hatred: A corruption known for megaversal destruction. Feeds off of the hatred and guilt of living beings. Loves to torment it's host (in this case, Sans) to make sure it has enough guilt to survive for as long as possible. When the corruption dies, the powers of the corruption will be transferred to the host with no downsides. The host can use the power of Hatred freely. This transfer cannot be reversed with reset sadly and all the LV and EXP gained from the Hatred will also be transferred towards the host, also not being affected by reset, giving the host unwanted LV and EXP. If the Hatred can't have the host, the corruption will make sure the host is hated as soon as possible in order to start another genocide. G!DD Sans is still protected by Frisk, the protagonist of this story. Sadly, the corruption hasn't died yet and is not willing to die. Random Hatred fact: Hatred is not as smart as an average human being but it IS capable of solving basic problems and can learn incredibly fast and was proven to know the english language and speak to people on a regular basis.
