Ok so I started scratch with my own art style right. Then I saw ggx’s art style and I was omghow?! So I used tutorials and stuff to try and get better but here’s where I went wrong: I think I went overboard. Ppl starting thinking I traced and stuff so I was like: ok imma gonna get a new art style and switched things up! So I went back to my old art style but changed a few things… and then more ppl (not naming names) said I was copying another artist when I had simply looked at the position of head and facial expressions just to try it out. ALSO I ADDED CREDIT AND IT WAS ONLY ONE PROJECT I DID THAT FOR!! But still the ppl kept saying I traced so I had to take it down :(. Bottom line is I’m just gonna not use references anymore bc I don’t want scratch to become smth negative for me and I just wanted to explain things abut bc if been getting some really hateful comment’s. I deleted them but they still rlly hurt and anyways I just wanted to make it clear: I’m not tracing, I admit my first art style was heavily influenced but not traced, I’m trying to get better. I hope this clears things up thanks pls stop commenting hate on my profile and projects, I just delete it anyways-
