[Backstory] Finn's parents weren't the best people, they sort of ignored Finn most of the time. Everytime he tried to tell them something they wouldn't listen to him, because of this Finn became very introverted compared to everyone else. He rarely spoke to people and his parents got mad because of this. "Why won't you talk to anyone?!" Finn's mother said, irritated. Finn didn't look up from his book, trying to ignore what his mother was saying. "All the kids your age have a couple of friends and run around outside, but you just sit here reading all day!" She continued. Finn just ignored her, he liked reading and running around just seemed tiring. His mother snatched the book out of his hands and threw it across the room. "Why won't you answer me?!" She shouted. "Situations like this are why I don't talk," Finn mumbled. "What did you say?!" His mother said. "Nothing," Finn replied. "I heard something. So tell me what you said!" She yelled angrily. Finn stayed quiet, he could already feel tears forming in his eyes. "The quiet treatment eh? Since you won't answer me, no more dinner for you." His mother said, storming out of his room. Finn locked his door, and sighed. "I just can't with that kid," His mother mumbled outside the door. A tear rolled down Finn's face, this wasn't the first time this happened. He picked up his book from the floor, he wished his parents understood that he didn't like talking to people. He put the book back on the shelf, 'A 12 year old shouldn't be going through this.' He thought. Finn knew his parents weren't good people and he always wished that they would just leave him alone. He pulled out a bag of chips from his drawer and opened it. He always made sure to have some food so when things like this happen he wouldn't starve. Finn could hear his family talking around the dinner table, he had siblings but they weren't treated like him. His older brothers were always treated better than Finn but he really didn't know why. Maybe it was because they talked to people and he didn't. As Finn grew up, he was actually able to make some friends, but his parents still didn't like him as much as his brothers. Finn happily moved out of his parents house to start his own life away from them. He currently works at a bookstore with his friends and is much happier away from his parents. Finn is pretty aware that he didn't have a great childhood and he's starting to get help. He still struggles with talking to other people though. [I love him a lot, he's just a little guy who doesn't like talking to people :D]
