———————————— [introduction] salutations! i’m @catlady2013, but you can call me quill ^^ i use she/xe/it/they/he pronouns, and i’m genderfluid. it’s wondrous to have you here on this fine day looking at my application :] i’m an artist, writer, and roleplayer who adores cats. although i’m surely still learning, i speak a lil spanish as a second language, and i love rollerskating, reading, and my fandoms more than i’d like to admit :’D anywho, enough about me, onto the application! :]] ———————————— [experience] i’ve been investing my time into a great clump of roleplays recently, some including twcrp, generations, and my own roleplay, blossoming bliss. i’ve been roleplaying overall for about 1 year or a year and a half online, although i started far before joining scratch in my backyard in summer just making up roleplays by myself. (ehe nostalgia, the good ‘ol days of not questioning my gender identity :’D /hj) ———————————— [activity level] 7/10 on weekdays. my school blocked scratch, although i’m trying to find away around it, so i’ll only be on til 7 in the morning and from 3-8 in the evening. on weekends it’s 9.7/10, i’m on the entire day on and off :’j ———————————— [current chars] i don’t have a character in TFCRP at the moment! ———————————— [previous chars] quietquiver, a female warrior of shadowclan. i roleplayed with her about once, and i don’t even remember her personality, although i do like her name a bit lol. i eventually ended up deleting her during an activity check. i had quietquiver a long time ago, though, and i’ve learned to give my characters tons of love and usually keep them for a fairly long amount of time now :] ———————————— [inactive periods] almost never! the longest i’m ever gone is for about a week a year, and if i do go inactive for more than a few days i’ll post a project about it ^^ ———————————— [character harm] not very frequently. i’m not going to go and lie and say that i never ever hurt my characters and sometimes make them go through trauma, but i don’t give them a billion scars and force them to go through a crap ton of emotional wounds. i do, however, every now and again give them minor injuries, like stepping on a thorn or stumbling over a tree root, because it’d probably be way too unrealistic if i didn’t. if i do win, i may give phan a few scars when he becomes an older warrior. ———————————— [which kit?] phantomkit, the truest beauty indeed! <3 ———————————— [why i want him] well, first off, the obvious part- pha is such a beloved chonk of floof! him and his design are just adorable, and i simply couldn’t /not/ apply for this fuzzy gentleman! secondly, i’ve been looking to join tfcrp for a while and i’ve been longing to find a litter that i’m committed to, and although this application was somewhat last-minute, i really hope that i win phantomkit because i adore the idea of him :] ———————————— [final identity] as a kit, phantom will use he/him pronouns and won’t know or care too much about sexuality, so he’s just gonna be like “yeah.. i like gals, i guess??”. but a bit after he becomes apprentice-aged, something in him seems to change. he doesn’t feel like he’s straight anymore, and the label makes him mighty uncomfortable. more specifically, phantom will begin question his sexuality during his later 7th moon. he will quickly realize that he mostly only likes males and cats aligning with masculinity. overall, pha’s final orientations will be: male and femboy (he/him), (sexuality) homoflexible, and androromantic. his pronouns may change though, his gender isn’t entirely set in stone yet :’j ———————————— [short personality] (+) careful, thoughtful, inventive, clever, appreciative, affectionate (=) antisocial, enigmatic, ambitious, formal, solitary (-) pessimistic, paranoid, solemn, irritable, moody ———————————— [detailed personality] A silky-coated tom saunters into the room, tail and head held high as he pads to the nearest corner, watching you thoughtfully. Allow me to introduce you to Phantomkit- the lonesome ghoul of WindClan. Phantom is quite the careful kitten, and always gives all the circumstances and possible consequences of a situation much cautious consideration before making a decision. (continued) Adding onto this quality, he’s also quite thoughtful and always thinks things through. He always pays attention to the little details and loves making everything intricate. Phan adores making up stories and games; most cats would certainly agree that he always thinks outside of the box. Even though they’re usually very wacky and tell-tale, he still loves his strange creations. Pha’s extremely clever and witty as well- which is likely why he can weave such good storylines together in such little time. This intelligent kitty always tries to appreciate what he has, too- “You only live once, I suppose. Gratitude is key,” is what he’d say. He’s extremely faithful to StarClan and hopes that he goes there someday. Phantom considers it an honor to be loved by his family and is always very affectionate to them. He often makes his family members many little gifts, as to show his gratefulness to them. Although he’s very close with his family, Pha tends to avoid socialization and isn’t extremely social nor antisocial, and he only opens up to those he’s close to. His social awkwardness makes it hard for this lonely gentleman to make friends, even though he does wish he had more. He’s mysterious and vague as well, often unintentionally. Phantomkit can’t exactly place the reason for him wanting to be enigmatic towards others. Despite his dislike towards socializing, he does love a good adventure. He hopes to train to become a strong member of his Clan, and has an ambition to perhaps follow in Ghost’s footsteps and become leader or deputy. Pha’s also very formal in both conversation and life- often using words like “suppose”, “perhaps”, and “indeed” during his limited amount of speaking during conversing. Phantom is extremely pessimistic and is a ‘glass-half-empty’ sort of cat. He often tried to change this way of thinking in the past, but he eventually figured out that it was no use. This fancy feline is always paranoid as well- he never thinks that he’s safe when he’s alone in a room, and sometimes believes that others are following him. If you’d seen this young kitty around camp, you’d likely describe his ‘vibe’ as solemn- and you’d be spot-on. He’s very dignified and formal, and cannot seem to get upbeat and optimistic about anything. Phantom is very irritable and you can get his fur bristling over the smallest things. He also has very quick mood swings, and is unpredictable. ———————————— [longevity] i’ll surely keep phantom for the required 20 moons, but i’m aiming to keep him for at least 80 moons, although likely more. ———————————— [research] insomnia: https://www.healthline.com/health/insomnia-concerns phantomkit has insomnia. more specifically, maintenance insomnia. this means that he’s inable to stay asleep. he constantly jolts awake in the night for no apparent reason. well, the question is, how does this affect our little kitty? firstly, this can lead to an increase in the likelihood of getting serious medical like asthma, and mental conditions, such as anxiety and depression. insomnia can also lead to a shorter life expectancy. causes for his insomnia can be improper eating habits, or stress, although phantom himself isn’t completely sure. polydactyl paws https://www.dutch.com/blogs/cats/cats-polydactyl-cats phantomkit also has polydactyl paws! this basically means that pha just has thumbs/extra toes. this is caused by a genetic mutation. this doesn’t really affect phantom’s quality of life negatively at all. if anything, this can actually help him with hunting by giving him better balance. ———————————— [rp example] A tall blue-grey kitten quietly stared outside by the entrance of the nursery, head held high. The sun was creeping out from underneath the horizon and pouring out the warm sunshine down onto the sandy camp below. Although he knew that the sand would soon become hot below his feet, he always enjoyed the mornings and watching the sunrise. He began to hum a little tune to himself. It seemed to amuse him. He knew little to none about the other Clans- but he was fairly sure they didn’t live in the desert like WindClan. He purred, brushing his prickly thoughts away. Phantom glanced over at the warrior’s den curiously. Most in there weren’t awake- they’d be waiting for the cool moon to rise and make the night air lukewarm. He suddenly felt a pant of sleepiness, and although he knew he would quickly wake from his slumber time and time again, he couldn’t resist the temptation of curling up in his cozy nest… ———————————— [cws] space is so interesting. plums and lilies are so cool too!
