Basics: -WASD or the arrow keys to move -Click on an object while your character is touching it to use it -To survive, make sure you keep the fire going and your food and sleep never drop below 0 (use the bed to sleep, use berries or fish for food, and cut down trees for wood to fuel the fire) Timer: -The amount of time it takes for the fire to get smaller or for food or sleep to deplete will decrease as time goes on until you reach the 15 minute 50 second mark, at which the amount of time it takes for food or sleep to decrease or for the fire to get smaller will be too small to continue decreasing and will remain constant -There is a clock next to the resource variables that will tick by to show how the difficulty is increasing -Once the amount of time it takes for the fire to get smaller or for food or sleep to deplete is remaining constant, the clock will have a skull on it and its hands will be back where they started -The timer also effects the speed of enemies and the frequency they spawn at Crafting: -Click on the table while touching it to enter the crafting menu -Click on the object you would like to craft -Click on 'purchase' to craft that object (you must have the resources necessary in order for this to work) -Click on 'upgrade' to increase the abilities of a tool -Read the section for your tool to learn more about it -To exit a specific section of the crafting menu, click the back arrow -To exit the menu all together, click the 'x' Costume: -Click on the table while touching it and click on the 'costume' tab to enter the costume menu -Click on a costume to equip it -Click on the 'x' to exit the menu and see your costume Settings: -Click on the table while touching it and click on the 'settings' tab to enter the settings menu -Click on any of the 3 buttons in the middle of the Settings tab to enter a section of the tab -Press the back arrow to return to the main Settings tab or press the 'x' to exit the crafting menu -Play the game to unlock achievements or beat high scores Combat: -While playing, you will encounter enemies you will have to fight -To attack an enemy, simply click on them while they are touching your player sprite -As you or your enemy take damage, your sprites will get brighter -If you take enough damage, your sprite will go white and you will die -If your enemy dies, they will disappear -While not in combat, your health will gradually go up, and your brightness will decrease with it -You can purchase and upgrade a spear to deal more damage -Foxes have 6 health, geese have 9 health, boars have 12 health, and deer have 15 health Axe: -To learn how to purchase and upgrade an axe, go to the 'crafting' section in the instructions -Axes make cutting down trees faster and allow you to harvest more wood from trees (wood is useful for keeping the fire going or crafting tools) -Cutting down trees with your fists takes 10.5 seconds and gets you 3 wood -Cutting down trees with the wooden axe takes 7 seconds and gets you 4 wood -Cutting down trees with the copper axe takes 3.5 seconds and gets you 5 wood -Cutting down trees with the steel axe takes 1.4 seconds and gets you 6 wood -Cutting down trees with the platinum axe takes 0.14 seconds and gets you 9 wood Fishing rod: -To learn how to purchase and upgrade a fishing rod, go to the 'crafting' section in the instructions -Fishing rods allow you to gain food much more efficiently than you can with the apple tree -To use the fishing rod, go to the river and then click on it (you should see a red and green bar pop up) -From there, wait until the little line is touching the green part of the bar, then click the bar to catch a fish -When you have caught a fish, a menu will pop up for a brief period of time showing you what fish you caught -To view every fish you've caught, go to the menu, click the fishing rod, and then click 'view catches' -The smaller the green part of the bar is and the faster the little line is moving, the rarer the fish you are catching is -Upgrading your fishing rod allows you to catch rarer and rarer fish -Wooden fishing rods only allow you to catch easy fish, which give you 1 food -Sleek fishing rods unlock large fish, which give you 3 food -Metal fishing rods unlock super rare fish, which give you 5 food -Golden fishing rods unlock mythical fish, which give you 10 food -There are 3 fish of each rarity to unlock Max Resources: -The maximum amount of food, water, or sleep you can have at one time is 66 -The maximum amount of fuel you can have in the fire at one time is 3 Mystery Item: -To avoid spoilers, I'll keep this brief -The mystery item works 3 times -You do not have to do anything for the mystery item to work
