He would do everything with her. He would go outside to play, he would go to the store, he would go on roller coasters at amusement parks, he would go to the beach and take a little dip, and he would even go to school! He watched her as she grew older and older. Soon, she was seven. One day, she came to him and smiled at him in a sad way and took him and placed him on the top shelf in her closet. He looked into her eyes. He was torn and ripped on the outside, but it was nothing that Maya's mother couldn't fix. But now, he was torn on the inside and it was nothing that he was pretty sure anyone could fix. One day, Maya had left the closet door open and Kermit could see that Maya and her mother were fighting. Maya had tears in her eyes and her mother was explaining something. Kermit had caught the word 'moving' and his stuffed heart stopped. Was Maya going to be gone forever? Soon, the whole closet became empty except for the top shelf he was on. Kermit was close to tears as he heard the roar of Maya's loud truck roar away forever. Months had gone by, as Kermit sat there. Dust and dirt had collected on him and he was feeling sick. Suddenly, he heard a loud engine roar into the house. It was much louder that Maya's engine. The roar came to a stop and clattering came from downstairs. He heard two people loudly coming up the stairs and into the room his closet was in. He heard stacks of boxes being slammed down onto the ground and one person loudly went out of the room and down the stairs again. A quieter pair of footsteps came nearer to the closet. The closet door creaked open slightly and light shined in his eyes. When his eyes adjusted to the light, he saw a young girl- about five years old- staring into his eyes. "Froggy?" She said
