Decided to go a little off the books to create the Royal Guard Snow Division! A specialized group of the Royal Guard Stormtrooper Corps, the Snow Division consisted of specialized bombardiers, E-Webs, and troopers that served as bodyguards or as an elite task force for the Emperor when he visited cold-weather worlds. The Royal Guard Snow Division accompanied Vader to the planet Hoth in the video game SNES Super Star Wars 2: The Empire Strikes Back, earning them the nickname "Darth Vader's Security Force."
