arrow keys. your goal is to eat phytoplankton and get bigger. since you are a speck in the beginning, you can press the button in the top left corner to find your krill. look around for the phytoplankton, and when you see a discolored speck go over it to get bigger and eat it. v.02 added whales, which if you touch, then you die.
