Lost in Translation- A Guessing Game An original game by @-Froqie An unpredictable bare-bones guessing game like no other!* How to play: -Press the green flag or the arrow next to the title -Wait until the word is revealed (may take a while) -Press the button next to the choice you think is correct -You will gain a point if you are correct and lose points if you are wrong. -To change the difficulty, click/tap the word "difficulty" that is on the screen. Higher difficulty = more points but harder and more risk. CHANGELOG-- 1.0 - game works (mostly) 2.0 - multiple themes are now possible and identifiable 2.1 - added to themes list; made the "loading translation" notification nicer 2.2 - added to list of the project's language options (text can be run through all 47 supported languages); added a early-development difficulty system that cannot be played with yet (it's very broken ^^;) - 2.3 - slightly improved UI 3.0 - difficulty function works (only one set of choices for hard and AHHHH modes so far) 3.1 - added new sets - easy mode has 7, hard and AAAAH modes have 4 each. Also fixed a minor bug involving the start button 3.1.1 - showed that the cloud score is broken beyond my control ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 3.2 - added some sets, easy now has 9, hard has 7, and AAAAH still has 4 but the luck set has been replaced with a synonyms set 4.0 - "vibe update": implemented @cs4542872's beautiful custom art and fixed the cheeky bug where the translation isn't changed (technically it just now retranslates it if it contains the answer, but I also put a cap so that it only retranslates up to 3 times to prevent extra wait time). Sound effects and music will be added soon 4.1- Fixed a game-breaking bug that was around since who knows when and implemented music BUGLOG (started in v3)-- Start button doesn't trigger the loading screen. [Status: Fixed 3.1] Translation is unchanged. [Status: Fixed 4.0] Input buttons don't input the right input [Status: Fixed 4.1] Sometimes the translation loading screen pops up before it should (Don't know when or why) [Status: Unresolved] Obvious answer is wrong (may be option 3 wired wrong?) (Credits below) Notes: Unfortunately, Scratch's Google Translate extension only has 47 of the normal 133 supported languages. Due to this, the translation is slightly limited, but still pretty chaotic as this project uses every one of the available languages! Also, I have discovered that @-WellThen- (and possibly other people) made an over-google-translator that coincidentally uses a very similar method to mine, we just happened to both figure out the smallest way to execute the over-translation.
