Wow, its been a while. Huh. Here’s some art I’ve done since before my last few posts to now. I’ve tried to put ‘em in the proper order XD. Click, space, or arrows! 1. My OC, Lisa, in a pretty pinafore. I ought to redraw this so I can use it as an excuse to do a study on skirt folds. 2. A new OC I'm calling Daisy Cottage Cheese Kid until I come up with a name for him. He likes to sing along to ad jingles, hence the Daisy Cottage Cheese. Also just a smol drawing of another character. 3. Possibly my favorite comfort character, Vincent. :0 I love him dearly e̶s̶p̶e̶c̶i̶a̶l̶l̶y̶ ̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶h̶a̶i̶r̶. 4. Keefe and Alden art based off of Keefe's short story from Nightfall. 5-7. Some redesigns of Warrior Cats as Hamilton characters. I was part of a crossover map a while back, and I had drawn some ✨atrocious✨ outfits, so I felt the need to try more on historical, or at least musical, accuracy. 8. My OC, Chip. This reminds me that I need to do a hat study. An artist's work is never over! 9. Hey! Prodigy art! My sister and I have a long history on Prodigy with multiple accounts we honestly treat as characters. So when Prodigy English came out, I did some concept art of one of my characters, Wade Landlegs, transitioning between worlds. This page is super satisfying to me, even if it is a little old. 10. So can you tell I have Prodigy phases? Here's art of my sister's Prodigy character, an OC, and CHARLES BINGLEY from Pride and Prejudice. Oh my gosh, he's so wholesome, I love him, and how his likeness turned out. (But for some reason I was too lazy to research Regency coats, so you get most likely incorrect lapels. :'0 ) 11. My character, Fox: super kid spy extraordinaire 12. Oh hey, look at that more Vincent art. This was fueled by Christmas hype. I am normally not this prolific when it comes to scenes. :') 13. Eustace Scrubb being a mood in The Last Battle. Also DnD shenanigans that you get no context for because they're just better that way 14. *A wild digital art piece has appeared* The drawing that convinced me to like Peppermint in Procreate. Apparently all it took was a n̶e̶g̶l̶e̶c̶t̶e̶d̶ edgy OC. 15. Oh, hey there he is again, resembling a blade of grass, and looking similarly edgy/defiant. And thus begins my Peppermint arc. 16. Aw, there's a doodle of my main character, Hunter, that I'll never finish despite the fact that I told myself I'd finish it. There's something about Hunter that is just perfect for my art style, and therefore makes him adorable about every time I draw him. 17. There's some hands. 18. Lisa is me on about every level at this moment. 19. BL00D WARNING. m̶e̶ ̶a̶f̶t̶e̶r̶ ̶i̶ ̶p̶l̶a̶y̶ ̶t̶a̶c̶o̶ ̶c̶a̶t̶ ̶g̶o̶a̶t̶ ̶c̶h̶e̶e̶s̶e̶ ̶p̶i̶z̶z̶a̶ There's Vincent looking a little banged up. Huh. Sorry 'bout that. 20. If my story were a TV show, then it would be called Runaways. And if someone were to make a "Never Pause Runaways" project, this would be the screenshot. It's style is way more clean & cartoony. 21. I think this is the best little doodle I've ever drawn. 22. So that was actually part of an impulsive New Years comic I made and these are some of the only good panels. It's just Lisa arguing with another oc, West. 23. Anne Shirley looking all grown up and Edwardian <3 24. Two of my characters that I drew solely for the purpose of spicing up their color palettes, but that kinda failed immediately. If you were paying attention, these two were already sighted on 2. and 10. respectively. (They're too important for lore to give you any information >:000) 25. Vincent. My gosh, I'm proud of this. I'm especially pleased with the shading and his sword. And an actual-ish background? You know I gotta love him to put this much effort into a drawing. (In retrospect, that reflects very poorly on my priorities, but whatever) 26. Doodle page of my character Jack. I'm practicing exaggeration in characters, especially the exuberant ones like him. Song lyrics are from Song for Another Time by Old Dominion. 27. Oh hey, here comes my Alvar arc. I took a map part, and that inspired a whole host of doodles. Song lyrics from Yellow Flicker Beat by Lorde. 28. Oh, there's a Gisela. Same song. (I love her dress but not her) 29. Alvar practice doodle. His hair is so floofy and he's so unnecessarily dramatic, I love it. 30. PROOF I'M WORKING ON MY MAP PART. I'm doing it, I swear! 31. Oh look, there's more Alvar. While he acts more defeated after the whole memories incident, he does rant a lot about the Vacker legacy, so I think that constitutes for some smug Alvar art. 32. New OC. >:3 33-37. Some doodles of side characters. I'm trying to incorporate slightly different facial features that only I, who is used to my art style, will be able to notice. :'D Cody is my favorite. 38. My profile picture, Vincent. It sparkles, too, but this is just the static image.
39. Vincent again. I'm trying to mix up his outfits to sort of represent his (fictional) culture better. I'm taking a lot of inspiration from military uniforms from around the 1920s to the 40s. It gives me joy to see him more casual. 40. New oc, I'm thinking of naming him Lucian. I love his character design; he looks so wholesome. 41. BL00D WARNING. I don't normally draw injuries, guys, but for some characters, its warranted. (l o r e) He's the same character from 32. and to lessen confusion, he cuts his hair at some point, okay? They're the same person. Lyrics from Uneven Odds by Sleeping At Last. 42. Oh there he is again, on a wrinkled sticky note. 43. My character, Eugene, being the poetic Frenchman he is. You do you kid. 44. Oh look, an expressions page that devolved into a doodle page. I decided that my man from 32./41./43. was too stoic, so I drew him once being angy, then got sidetracked. Also featuring a very lovely fairy on the bottom right drawn by my friend. Lyrics from Exeunt by The Oh Hellos 45. Jack playing guitar. I think I've improved my guitar drawing skills (?), but I was too lazy to look up the proper chords. Lyrics from Memory Lane by Old Dominion 46. *A wild Nick Carraway has appeared. Surely this is not foreshadowing anything at all* Nick Carraway is the narrator of the Great Gatsby by F.S. Fitzgerald. I love him, but I also don't. You wouldn't understand. Read the book. Lyrics from Wishing Well by Branches. 47. Oh hey! Would you look at that? The beginning of my English project induced Nick obsession. Here are doodles. 48. There's my design for him. One thing The Great Gatsby inspired was an impromptu research rabbit hole into the fashion of the 1920s. (Library of Congress and Archive.org for the win!!!) I now hold that it is one of my favorite eras for classic menswear. I love his coat so much :0. 49. Oh look. Nick being sad. Not me using this as an opportunity to draw some suspenders and knickerbock-ers. o-o 50. Colored in Nick! If only my pen didn't smudge. *shakes fist*. I love the color palette I chose. 51. More Nick! :DDD 52. I was looking back at that page and found THIS. He's SO CUTE. I was just trying to test some pens, but GAH. It's ADORABLE, jeez. 53. Doodles of a concept for the next piece, a dagger, a coffee addicted hobgoblin from a book, a Berlin Wall meme with West and Lisa, Jack crying on a trampoline, Fox and Jack, and a pith helmet. B) 54. *cough* moving on. An unfinished piece of that new guy from 32./41./etc. This was solely drawn for the, albeit inaccurate, pith helmet. But I got to do some research into U.S. uniforms of the 20s, so I imagine this would've taken place in 1918. This character must be so baffling, lol. But yo, small tangent, I finally figured out what that belt is: a Sam Browne belt, and I need one in my life. 55. (the following art was for an assignment over The Great Gatsby) Tom Buchanan. He's menacing and I like it. 56. Jay Gatsby. I like tiny soldier Gatsby , but honestly, I have no clue what I think this man looks like. 57. Daisy Buchanan. I used the same colors and blending modes for everyone's shading and lighting, but I like how it has a different effect for each. 58. Nick Carraway. Slightly edited his design and gave him a pocket square. I can't believe I FORGOT to give the others POCKET SQUARES. Come on. XD Can you tell my digital art style is actually having a conniption? Moving on. 59. Unnamed tree spirit that I love but doesn't have a name. :'0 60. There's Jack, but older. I love him all the same, but it's odd seeing your characters more grown up. 61. Hunter doodle I like 62. Drawing for a character design challenge that my friends did at school. I really like how this one turned out. 63. Rainy day doodle of Hunter but older as well. The only way you're able to tell is by the slight haircut change lol. 64. There's Vincent being a floor troll. I find it so interesting that he’s such a comfort character for me, yet he's hardly involved in the main plot of my story. He's a living example of my distaste of static characters. 65. An Eiffel Tower sketch because I needed to just d r a w s o m e t h i n g this description got more and more chaotic as i kept going jeez the quality just devolved So I know I’m actually dumpster fire level garbage at posting, but hear me out. I go on Scratch almost every day: the only reason why I don’t post stuff is because that takes motivation and crawling out of my lurker cave hole. BUT, while this time around I won’t promise that I’ll post more, I will promise that I’ll try. I suppose, what’s the point of art if not to be shared and enjoyed?
