I can see why this place is beloved by its residents, and while I can respect that, this isn't truly home. This is the result of my mistakes." ⇢ MBT: ISTJ-T (used to be -A ) ⇢ Alignment: Lawful Neutral / Social Moral ⇢ Demeanor: Quiet, self-contained, and a little intimidating. . ◈ . ⇢ personality: Veilglimpse is, to put it frankly, a highly judgemental cat. As observant as they are, they often pick up on small behaviors or expressions others make- and promptly makes their own assumptions on what those might mean and how that affects that cat's overall worth as a person. It doesn't help that Veilglimpse often struggles to empathize with and understand cats in situations they've never been in, and probably doesn't care to, at that. In other words, Veilglimpse prefers to keep their emotions to themself (for better or worse), and would like it if others did the same. There are some exceptions to this rule, though, the most notable of which being Veilglimpse's short temper. The smallest insult cand send them into a tiff, and although they rarely turn violent, their scathing wit can be just as sharp as their claws. If they aren't upset with you, though, Veilglimpse can actually be quite an interesting cat to talk to. A pondering soul, Veilglimpse likes to wonder at the deeper truths in life, even if their opinions are, more often than not, skewed by their stuck-uppery. Speaking of which, Veilglimpse has a love for rules, boxes, labels, and just about any kind of arbitrary organization, along with a dislike for deviating from their plans and schedules. This often leads them to judge those who don't comply with their ideals and sense of structure (even if they themself don't always follow said rules). They are, however, working on this, as they feel that this tendency can be a little confining, and would like to live up to their late friend's advice to "live a little". Finally, Veilglimpse is very self-assured. Things that they believe to be true aren't just opinions- they are, according to them, facts. And although they are open to changing their mind, they don't do so very often. While they would never go as far as to say that they're always right, they just about believe it- and even though they're more of a realist than an optimist at heart, they can be very convicted once they come up with a plan. . ◈ . ⇢ description: Hazewhim is a lightly scarred, long-furred, blue-eyed, light grey mackerel tabby cat with a white chest, underbelly, tail-tip, and paws.
