Time for a sTory~ My most recent choir concert was last week, Tuesday. (As of me posting this.) I was in my school's swing choir (dancing and singing), and swing choir performed first. We had been practicing since the beginning of March, and I know what you may be thinking, "Why didn't you start practicing when school started again?" Well first, we needed to have tryouts for new members, and in March (I think?????) we had a choir competition (ISSMA) and had to practice those songs, so we didn't start swing choir rehearsal until March, after the competition. Clearly, that was NOT ENOUGH TIME TO PRACTICE, because when swing choir started our first song, people were messing up and singing the wrong words/notes, but the second song was SO MUCH WORSE. In the second song, we had 2 soloists. One of them had been gone for about 2-3 weeks for a cheer competition thingy in Florida (idk much about it), so she never rehearsed with us a lot and wasn't used to her solo. When she sang the solo, her voice kinda broke on the last note and no one knew what she said, which was annoying because the song was everyone's favorite ("Cruisin' for a Bruisin' " from Teen Beach) and if that wasn't bad enough, people kept doing moves wrong, and towards the end I triPped on a tarp and almost fell over, which was embarrassing. Anyway, that dance was a nightmare, and to make matters worse, swing choir had to dance AGAIN in the finale, "Under the Sea". We danced with ribbons in that song, and even though we did MULTIPLE checks before the concert even began, someone didn't have a ribbon, so she just stood in the back and just... did nOthing. Anyway that concert was a disaster and I'm so glad it's over.
<| Im finna cry that concert was awful =.= |>
