So...I'm sorry about Smimble 2. I have some explaining to do. When I carried on with Smimble 2 from the demo, horrible glitches appeared. I tried to fix them...but I only made things worse. It got to a point where I couldn't find the glitches, and the game was unplayable. I trudged on for a couple of days...but that ended too. I decided to name this phase of Smimble 2's development 'Withered'. But that's not where the story ends! Read on... After this failure, I left Smimble completely. Though around November last year, I made some redesigns for the Smimble characters. I then went on in January to add a starting cutscene and a title screen to this incomplete base. When I looked back on it though, something felt off. The joy and charm from the original Smimble was missing. So I scrapped that version. I named this phase 'Project AIS' (Art, Inspiration, Start). A couple of days ago, I decided to redraw the Smimble characters AGAIN. And then I played the original Smimble. I took some notes, and started development. And so far, things are going really well! I've got good movement and animations for Smimble, and I've nearly got to level design. See you next time! all credit to me
