Confused? Just read below. ========================================== Q: What is Scratch Empires? A: It is a Minecraft server. Players on Java edition and Bedrock edition can join. What are they? A: You’re right. These legendary items aren’t in regular Minecraft. They were added through commands by @xXRedTheCoderXx aka DevDav. Obviously, these items are only on the Scratch Empires Minecraft Server. Q: Once I’ve joined the server, how can I get these items? A: You can’t. At least not yet, but you will be able to soon. There will be tournaments to obtain the items later in the summer. Q: If I can’t obtain them, how come some people are talking about having them? A: Weaker versions were released, and obtained by killing the Wither, Ender Dragon, Warden, or Elder Guardian. (I haven’t added cool textures in the project yet but I might. Below explains it a bit.) Q: Will the items have cool drawings like in the project? A: The in-game items will most likely not have cool textures. I drew them as fan-art because I felt like it, but I suggested this to @xXRedTheCoderXx, and he doesn’t have the capability to add textures. ========================================== Alright, that’s enough of the questions. This is his original post with my slightly edited format (any added info in later posts will be covered in the actual project): ========================================== IMPORTANT NEW SERVER LORE - DO NOT SKIP Long ago, before the first player appeared on Scratch Empires, 10 gods and goddesses created 10 ultimate weapons and pieces of armor and locked them away for only those worthy to hold… Those legendary items were: — The Crown of Phanes - breathes life into you when you need it most… — The Chestplate of Cronos - makes you able to withstand far more harm than any normal player could… — The Leggings of Eleos - grants peace between those who are your enemy… — The Boots of Hermes - allows you to travel to any location with far more speed and safety… — The Sword of Zeus - strikes down on your enemies with the wrath of the sky… — The Pickaxe of Plutus - gives you the power to destroy any earth in your way… — The Axe of Athena - intoxicates any of your enemies… — The Scythe of Demeter - pushes away your enemies so you may have a chance to escape peril… — The Bow of Hades - shoots at your enemies with the power of hellfire… and lastly… — The Trident of Poseidon - permits you to soar through the skies as if it were the ocean… ___________________________________________________ Important notes: — The Leggings of Eleos do not work on Wardens, and may not work on other bosses because they use a different tracking system. — The Trident of Poseidon cannot be enchanted with riptide otherwise it will not work. — All legendary items will lose their powers if you grindstone them, so make sure to not regret any enchantments you may add to them. ___________________________________________________ To obtain these items, the gods have begun to grant weaker versions of them to those who can defeat any of the following monsters: — The beast who patrols the ruins and lurks in complete darkness… — The sea monsters who come in three… — The golem formed with three skulls of the dead and countless souls… — And the dragon who regenerates from crystals… ___________________________________________________ As for the real legendary items, which there are only one of each in existence for the entire server, they will be granted to those who come out on top over all other players during a series of 3 (or 4) special challenges. For the duration of summer, during the coming weeks, multiple server wide events will take place for anyone to take part in. They can range from a PvP tournament, to a spleef event, to a server wide race, or even a build battle or hide and seek. For the first event, the winner gets to choose any legendary item they may want. Second and third place will then get second and third pick respectively. This cycle will continue with multiple events until all legendary items are distributed throughout the server. Note that rules are subject to change, so stay tuned! These custom items were coded by me, so I hope you guys enjoy them and that they spice up the server a bit. Also expect some various balance changes to come soon as the crown is kinda really OP right now… In addition, I should now probably mention that the dragon egg, which there is only one of (and is currently owned by Alcestis/MelancholicAlc) in the server, grants great power to whoever is holding it.
