so in english class (legit only 20-30 mins ago at the time of writing) some kids that were sitting at the desks around me were commenting about the comic i was reading on my tablet (I THINK BUT IM NOT ENTIRELY SURE CAUSE YES) and i couldnt tell if they were making fun of me or genuinely interested in what i was doing, but nonetheless i pretended they didnt exist the entire time (externally, internally i was freaking out and carefuly listenting to what they were saying) i feel like maybe if i had just responded i could have maybe initiated conversation, but i would have too much to explain and they would surely get tired of me and even so, i think they mightve(most likely) been making fun of me :') also they were doing stuff to the hood of my jacket and i have yet to check out the damage so- also half the reason i ignored them was the 1% chance they werent actually talking to me.
