Personality: Eloisa is very temperamental, and often behaves impulsively. She dislikes large crowds and will often ask her familiar to chase them out of areas that she wants to herself. While she is certainly not the nicest felnine she does show some kindness on occasion. She refuses to take responsibility for her actions and will often blame someone else. Deep down, Eloisa is incredibly insecure, and will often project her insecurities onto other felnines. Despite being in a relationship with a felnine from the bronze order, she is incredibly classist. Backstory: Eloisa is the daughter of the current royal advisor, Avaru Sarokaru, and his wife Nara, who was a scribe working in Vrisia's courts. She was betrothed to Prince Noto when they were both quite young. The two of them grew up together, and ended up falling in love. Eloisa supported him during the early years of his reign after his father suddenly died when he was only 17. However as the two of them grew up their personalities changed and they started to grow distant from one another. What was once love was replaced with resentment. There were a few moments here and there where they did reconnect, but those moments rarely lasted long. Eloisa was a somewhat decent mother during her children's younger years. Her older children were the ones who got to know the kinder side of more, as she grew older, she started becoming more and more cynical and cold. In between the hatchings of Isio and Rija, Eloisa fell quite ill. During that time, Eloisa and Noto met Tavrisia, who became a servant of the family, and eventually had an affair with Noto. Tavrisia and Eloisa barely interacted as Noto deliberately made sure Tavrisia wouldn't cross paths with his wife. Eloisa was never particularly popular as queen, as she would refuse to support her husband in anything once they fell out with one another. Both of them had several affairs (although only one of Noto's lasted long enough for children to happen, and Eloisa never had any children with any of her partners, mostly due to the fact that most of them were women lol). Only Eloisa suffered any consequences, while Noto got away with it scott-free since he was the king. The final straw for her was when it was discovered that Isio was having an affair with an impure felnine. Both Eloisa and Noto realised that this would cause a major scandal, especially if Isio became king. His temperamental nature had always been seen as a potential issue. Conveniently Isio "fell down the grand staircase" and "had to have his right wing amputated", so he was removed from the succession order. Isio's injuries caused Eloisa to shut down completely. She withdrew into her room and barely left it for several months. Eventually she decided to take a trip to another castle owned by the royal family, she did not return to the main palace for twenty-two years, not even for the funerals of Noto, Simon and Claire, who all died while she was away. This soured her relationship with Akrito greatly, as he viewed it as a betrayal. However, when Noto fell ill, she was forced to head back to Notsujaro to rule the kingdom in his steed. She did this up until his death, although there were points where she would hand the reins over to her son, both due to either not being bothered to rule or wanting him to gain experience. During her regency, Eloisa finally got to connect with Tavrisia, and the two of them formed a close bond- Noto had cut off their affair three years before, while Tavrisia was still working at the palace, she no longer had access to as much money as she used to, since Noto slashed her pay. (The royals don't pay their servants well which is unsurprising). Once her husband died and her son ascended to the throne, Eloisa started wearing darker clothes to rebel against the society that had wronged her. However she has never been consistent with her ideology surrounding this, she looks down on anyone else who dares defy social norms despite defying them herself. Most of her family views this as just a weird thing she does because of the stress of her husband dying so they don't say anything to her about it.
