NOTES This is the first album by GAMEBOY271 and The Sectortions as one artist, 囚 MIRRORS 2 U 人. All songs were written by the two users with the exceptions of the intro (by @The-Sectortions) and the outro (by @GAMEBOY271). GAMEBOY271 primarily wrote the melodic parts and produced, and The Sectortions did percussion and other melodies and production. From @GAMEBOY271: This album has been an adventure to work on. Endless thanks to @The-Sectortions for making this whole thing possible. He's the reason this album got off the ground. He's also the reason that Rain doesn't suck as hard as it could have... but back to this. He's worked so hard to make this project a reality, and I'm proud to have worked with him on these quirky, ambitious songs. He's truly the greatest collaborator I've ever worked with. His feel for melody and vibe is on a whole other level, and he's encouraged me to find new music that I like and try new things. Give the man a follow, for Christ's sake. -@GAMEBOY271 From @The-Sectortions: this album means a lot to me. i havent released a album since a year ago, let alone a beepbox album. working with the incredible mind of gameboy really gave me a new lease on creativity through beepbox and it has been a gift to work with him on this project. i think my percussion/rhythm and feel for how things sound came through more polished than what i did before because of gameboys incredible music writing skills. the cover for this album is a deconstructed virtual mirror, and i think that speaks volumes about people online, how this collaboration came to be, and the future moving forward. gameboy, thank you so much for being a great friend and fellow musician who has opened me up to a lot of new things i would have never expected to like before and thank you for everyone who listens to this album. -
