Notably, the rear roof glass panels which make the interior feel light, airy, spacious and capatious! Some features like the front wing indicator and many interior trim parts (as well as engines, gearboxes and chassis components) are taken from the big brother Scoppio. The mk3 was a hit amongst Brandtistas and the general public alike - with RightAuto claiming it to be ''An exciting view into the world of modern Brandt city motoring''. Colours ranged from the subdued 'Nero Elegante' to the wacky yet famous Elephant Yellow (this being the post-2000 elephant yellow, slightly greener than the 90s version). Reliability problems started to plague the car when it got to about 6 years old. Rust hid underneath the plastic sill and arch trims, only showing itself when things got bad! Roof windows were prone to shattering in cold conditions too (however Brandt offered a recall on this, offering tempered glass replacements (free at all dealerships between 2007 and 2015, now a charge of £25 to the Brandt Charity occurs due to the company's charity initiative). Styling was as simplistic yet divisive as ever, with the common Brandt 'love it or hate it' side crease becoming a shoulder line. -
