There are legends of a six eyed fox with patterns of dusty maroon and shiny golden fur, said to have the power to shift the weather, ground, and even gravity itself within the region of Yūrgata Lakes. Those legends; while yet to be proven, have little prints that lead to the truth. At least, that's what late Emperor Izanagi's text reads as so. He was said to be the only one who has ever seen this nine-tailed beauty. As the text says: "The spirit of the Ōkuninushi manifested into a ten foot fox surrounded by red clouds of those who've sinned in their lives. Fur shimmering in the bright sky, sprints majestic as it's fluffy tails. I have bonded with this creature, as it will lovingly heed my calls." so he speaks. That was the last letter ever sent by Izanagi before his sudden disappearance. "He's a liar. Izanagi is nothing but a liar! I'm no creature to be discovered, i'm a simple fox, living for the purpose of protecting the lake I wake up in." Yōko used to cry. Yōko was unaware of the power it held within, as it only knew it's current life. Yōko looks scary and complicated, but is simple and shy; just as a regular fox. It was berated by Izanagi, because of the previous legends and fortune it had. The day Yōko found out the powers it had, was the day Izanagi was last seen. Fully aware of it's powers, from then on Yōko was distant from the outside world, as it was finally given the peace it wanted. If you look in the lagoons of Yūrgata Lakes, you might find it watching you. Yōko seems more interested in modern day Japan. The newest traces of this majestic fox lie in the form of it sitting under a sakura tree.
