Arrow keys to move and up arrow key to jump. That's pretty much it As of version 1.2! Space to attack or press the button in the top right.
Just a generic platformer... I'll turn it into something new soon I like generic platformers, but sometimes they're boring; I like the ones with annoying and clever levels. Mechanics credits go to Griffpatch_tutor for their amazing youtube video on how to create a platformer! Congrats if you found the Easter Egg! ~~~JUNE 29~~~ I finally decided to do something with this! After over a year I realized that one year wasn't exactly "soon," so it was now time to turn this project into a game. So currently I'm thinking about a kind of role-playing game/platformer, but 8-bit and retro. To anyone who's played the board game Boss Monster or the video game Apple Knight (Both really fun, actually, if you've never played I highly recommend them), this is going to be similar (hopefully) to both styles of play. Fair warning, though: I can't guarantee I'll be working on it whenever I get the chance, so it could take months or even years (sorry!). So it's later today and I've been working on it as much as I can. I'm definitely adding more levels, better graphics, and taking away the fact that the monster dies very slowly and can fly, and is generally broken. Even still, I hope you enjoy! v1.1: Simple controls and 1 level. v1.2: Added attack and monster. v1.3: Added monster movement and damage.
