Also it will be a screen clear, which makes hitting this speedy boy much more easier. By the way, using it clears the darkness effect and also stuns Umbra out of warping. Lore: Dr. Wily created him to beat up Proto Man. He's one of the robots to ever exist. Then Proto Man killed him with a flashlight. Then he died of death (I heard it's really bad for your health btw, don't do it)
The obligatory super-aggressive-speedster of the roster is here. Inspired by Hidden Phantom and Assassin Man, yet nothing too crazy for it to become a super boss. However, the AI is more complex than I thought because my self restraining powers are weak. To beat this boss, you have to master precise jumping. The shields can deflect kunais in case he corners you at low health and starts the kunai spread shot spam, but not the Night Blades. @retrokid104 for his good AI test base and his Toad Man bossfight, particularly the Razor Man attack which inspired one of Umbra Man's attacks @XpluszeroequalsZX for proto man: the game @underkoopa757 for some of the dark man sprites, I made more for the moveset expansion Tatsu for Rockman 6 Unique Harassment, one of Tomahawk Man's attack in phase 2 inspired the Night Blade ricocheting attack @TwinDemise for the original AI, which also inspired some of his attacks here Kunai sprites from https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/545830763/ some moveset inspiration also from there. I love Assassin Man, especially when he teleports just behind you and throws a kunai spread shot. Trivia: Originally there are a few attacks planned for him, but got scrapped because they're too much. 1. Phantom's Shuriken Riding 2. Umbra throwing some kunais into the ground, then he dashes into them and scatters them across the arena 3. Him creating shadow clones that help him fight 4. Slashing with his kunais at close range 5. A big shuriken that releases kunais in a "+" and "x" pattern 6. More teleportation and Kunai stuff I guess 7. Him throwing 7 night blades upwards, and they rain down. 8. A front facing jump sprite (Hidden Phantom moment) and a run animation 9. The backhand throw he does when he stops his dashes at low health is removed because no way on earth someone can actually dodge that
