Welcome to Slime Defense! ----------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: Easy difficulty is recommended for mobile players. Controls: -Move your mouse to aim. The turret will automatically point towards your mouse. -Press space to shoot and pop the slimes! Click to cause an explosion, popping or badly hurting slimes in an area of effect. 18 second cooldown. Slimes: Green Slime- A weak enemy slime. Takes 1 shot to pop. Red Slime- A stronger, sturdier slime. Takes 3 shots to pop. Purple Slime- A powerful boss slime. Takes 15 hits, but grants 20 points instead of 1. Gray Slime- An even stronger boss slime. Grants 50 points and has 35 health. Yellow Slime- A mysterious slime that seems to be very fast and rare. It doesn't seem hostile, but it can multiply your points if you manage to hit it. Blue Slime- Appears when you reach 300 points. Hitting this slime will upgrade your bullets, making them become bouncy. Dark Red Slime: Appears when you reach 800 points. Pop this slime to unlock a new type of bullet that deals extra damage! Dark Purple Slime: Appears at 1500 points. This is the final upgrade to your turret, it unlocks piercing bullets! Ammo Types: Normal (press "1" key to select): A normal bullet. Deals 1 damage. Bouncy (press "2" key to select): Similar to a normal bullet, this one bounces when it hits a wall. Damage (press "3" key to select): Deals 3x damage and moves slower. Pierce (press "4" key to select): Moves faster and pierces through enemies, but increased cooldown between shots.
All code is made by me, with the exception of the explosion effect from AlexSteve's tutorial. My highscore is 78,244. Don't ask. If you have any recommendations, please comment them! I would love to have more ideas to add and I will credit you if you want me to. Update Log: Version 1.0: The game is released! Version 1.1: Added a gray boss slime, indicators for unlocking new ammo, and a shake animation when you don't have something unlocked. Fixed a few small bugs with selecting music. Slightly increased slime respawn speed as well. Version 1.2: Added a difficulty select menu. Changed background to grass and added a game over screen. Fixed bugs with the bouncy bullet not appearing. Fixed a bug where the gray slime could not end the game. Version 1.3: The game now supports mobile! Added an ammo menu, turn buttons, and a shoot button. You can choose your platform when the game starts. Also fixed a bug where bullets would duplicate when you shoot. Version 1.4: Added a score counter that looks much better than Scratch’s default variables. Fixed bugs on mobile with bullets being able to turn, slimes not taking any damage, and other small issues. Added a crosshairs icon for PC players as well.
